MINUTES - REGULAR CITY COUNCIL MEETING OCTOBER 28, 1981 A regular meeting of the Falcon Heights City Council was called to order at 7:30 p.m, by Mayor Warkentien. Mayor Warkentien, Councilmembers Steele, Brown, Eggert and Larson. Also PRESENT present was Clerk Administrator Barnes. None. ABSENT One item of new business was added to the agenda - setting of the date NEW BUSINESS and time for the Canvassing Meeting. ADDED TO AGENDA Councilmember Eggert moved, seconded by Councilmember Brown, that the Consent Agenda be approved as presented. CONSENT AGEND APPROVID 1. Fire Reports 4~F-02381 and ~~F-02481 2. License: General Corporate License X801 - Sale of Christmas Trees University of Minnesota Forestry Club Room 10 Green Hall, University of MN Falcon Heights, MN 55108 Councilmember Larson moved, seconded by Councilmember Eggert, that the MINUTES OF Minutes of October 7, 1981 be approved as corrected. Upon a vote being 10/7/81 taken the following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Warkentien, Council- APPROVED members Brown, Eggert and Larson, and the following voted against the same: None. Councilmember Steele abstained. Motion carried. Mayor Warkentien presented a request from Martin Christiansen, 1724 CHRISTMAS Holton, for a license to conduct a Christmas Tree Lot at his residence. TREE SALES Fire Chief Renchin requested that if the license is granted, Mr. AT 1724 Christiansen be required to place the trees at least 20 feet from the HOLTOIv house. Councilmember Steele moved, seconded by Councilmember Larson, APPROVID that General Corporate License 41802 be issued to Mr. Christiansen LICENSE ~~802 enabling him to conduct ~ Christmas Tree lnt with the stipulation that the trees be placed at least 20 feet from the house. Motion carried unanimously. Councilmember Eggert moved, seconded by Councilmember Brown, that the DUPLICATE Clerk Administrator be authorized to issue a check in the amount of CHECK TO BE $70.40 to Design Planning Associates, Inc., to replace Check 4413833 ISSUID TO dated June 24, 1981 which was lost in the mail. Motion carried unani- DESIGN mously. PLANNING TO '. REPLACE LOST Council noted that James Chenoweth has been released from the CHECK Fire Department due to the result~o€ his physical.
