MINUTES - <br />REGULAR CITY COUNCIL MEETING <br />OCTOBER 28, 1981 <br />A regular meeting of the Falcon Heights City Council was called to order <br />at 7:30 p.m, by Mayor Warkentien. <br />Mayor Warkentien, Councilmembers Steele, Brown, Eggert and Larson. Also PRESENT <br />present was Clerk Administrator Barnes. <br />None. ABSENT <br />One item of new business was added to the agenda - setting of the date NEW BUSINESS <br />and time for the Canvassing Meeting. ADDED TO <br />AGENDA <br />Councilmember Eggert moved, seconded by Councilmember Brown, that the <br />Consent Agenda be approved as presented. CONSENT AGEND <br />APPROVID <br />1. Fire Reports 4~F-02381 and ~~F-02481 <br />2. Lauderdale Fire Reports ~~L-01381 and #L-01481 <br />3. Rescue Reports 4~R-07981 - 46R-08281 <br />4. General Disbursements IO/8/81 - 10/28/81 $44,839.75 <br />5. Liquor Disbursements 10/6/81 - 10/26/81 $27,620.93 <br />6. General Payroll 10/1/81 - 10/15/81 $ 4,675.51 <br />7. License: <br />General Corporate License X801 - Sale of Christmas Trees <br />University of Minnesota Forestry Club <br />Room 10 Green Hall, University of MN <br />Falcon Heights, MN 55108 <br />Councilmember Larson moved, seconded by Councilmember Eggert, that the MINUTES OF <br />Minutes of October 7, 1981 be approved as corrected. Upon a vote being 10/7/81 <br />taken the following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Warkentien, Council- APPROVED <br />members Brown, Eggert and Larson, and the following voted against the <br />same: None. Councilmember Steele abstained. Motion carried. <br />Mayor Warkentien presented a request from Martin Christiansen, 1724 CHRISTMAS <br />Holton, for a license to conduct a Christmas Tree Lot at his residence. TREE SALES <br />Fire Chief Renchin requested that if the license is granted, Mr. AT 1724 <br />Christiansen be required to place the trees at least 20 feet from the HOLTOIv <br />house. Councilmember Steele moved, seconded by Councilmember Larson, APPROVID <br />that General Corporate License 41802 be issued to Mr. Christiansen LICENSE ~~802 <br />enabling him to conduct ~ Christmas Tree lnt with the stipulation <br />that the trees be placed at least 20 feet from the house. Motion <br />carried unanimously. <br />Councilmember Eggert moved, seconded by Councilmember Brown, that the DUPLICATE <br />Clerk Administrator be authorized to issue a check in the amount of CHECK TO BE <br />$70.40 to Design Planning Associates, Inc., to replace Check 4413833 ISSUID TO <br />dated June 24, 1981 which was lost in the mail. Motion carried unani- DESIGN <br />mously. PLANNING TO <br />'. REPLACE LOST <br />Council noted that James Chenoweth has been released from the CHECK <br />Fire Department due to the result~o€ his physical. <br />CHENOWETH <br />RELEASED FRO*~ <br />FIRE DEPT. <br />
