Clerk Administrator Barnes explained-that Council had tried
something similar in the past {starting the meeting at 7:00 p.m. to
allow 30 minutes for citizen input) and there was very little response.
Councilmember Chestovich .stated she would like it listed as a specific
agenda item and thought it would be good public relations and that people
would feel more comfortable about addressing Council. Mayor Warkentien
was of the opinion that if citizens want input they should call in and
request a time on the agenda. He also stressed that citizens who stop
in are usually invited to speak. No action was taken at this time.
Councilmember Larson moved, seconded by Councilmember Eggert, that
the meeting be adjourned at 9:24 p.m. Motion carried unanimously.
Attest:
w.~
Dewan B.
