MINUTES i <br />REGULAR CITY COUNCIL MEETING <br />JUNE 9, 1982 <br />A regular meeting of the Falcon Heights City Council was called to order <br />at 7:30 p.m. by Mayor Warkentien. <br />Mayor Warkentien, Councilmembers Eggert, Larson, Ciernia and Chestovich. PRESENT <br />None. ABSENT <br />Councilmember Eggert moved, seconded by Councilmember Larson, that the CONSENT AGEND4 <br />Consent Agenda be approved as presented. Motion carried unanimously. APPROVED <br />1. Lauderdale Rescue Report ~~LR-00782 <br />2. Falcon Heights Rescue Reports ~~R-03782 - ~~R-03982 <br />3. General Payroll 5/16/82 - 5/31/82 $ 5,486.98 <br />4. Liquor Payroll 5/1/82 - 5/31/82 $ 2,736.38 <br />5. General Disbursements 5/27/82 - 6/9/82 $92,507.27 <br />6. Liquor Disbursements 5/22/82 - 6/7/82 $24,663.68 <br />7. Human Rights Commission Minutes of March 18, 1982 <br />8. Human Rights Commission Minutes of April 15, 1982 <br />9. Human Rights Commission Minutes of May 20, 1982 <br />10. Planning Commission Minutes of June 7, 1982 <br />Two items were added to the agenda as follows: (1) Awarding the bid for ITEMS ADDED <br />1982 sealcoating project and (2) Conditional Use request from Thomas TO AGENDA <br />McClellan, 1865 Pascal. <br />Councilmember Eggert moved, seconded by Councilmember Chestovich, that MINUTES OF <br />the Minutes of the regular meeting of May 26, 1982 be approved as REGULAR MEET- <br />presented. Motion carried unanimously. ING OF 5/26/$i <br /> APPROVED <br />Councilmember Ciernia moved, seconded by Councilmember Larson, that the <br />Minutes of the Public Hearing (Platting and Variance - American Shelter) MINUTES OF <br />held May 26, 1982 be approved with the stipulated corrections. Motion PUBLIC HEAR- <br />carried unanimously. ING 5/26/82 <br /> APPROVED <br />Councilmember Larson presented for Council's consideration a variance <br />request from Bruce and Sharon Rushton, 1469 W. California, to construct VARIANCE <br />a garage 2 feet from the rear and side lot line and construct a patio BRUCE AND <br />4 feet from the east lot line. Following a short discussion Council- SHARON RUSHTCI <br />member Larson moved, seconded by Councilmember Chestovich, that the 1469 W. CALIF, <br />variance be granted as was unanimously recommended by the Planning APPROVED <br />Commission at the June 7, 1982 meeting. Motion carried unanimously. <br />Councilmember Larson informed Council that at the June 7, 1982 Planning VARIANCE - <br />Commission meeting that body unanimously recommended approval of a MICHAEL SALMOZ <br />variance request from Michael Salmon, 1790 Pascal, to build a garage 1790 PASCAL <br />1 foot from the lot line. Following a short discussion Councilmember APPROVED <br />Larson moved, seconded by Councilmember Chestovich, that the variance <br />be granted. Motion carried unanimously. <br />Councilmember Larson presented a variance request from Donald Opdahl, 1864 VARIANCE - <br />Simpson, to build a fence 4 feet high and 13 feet from Ruggles Street and DONALD OPDAHL <br />moved that the request be granted as recommended by the Planning Commission 1864 SIMPSON <br />at the June 7, 1982 meeting. The motion was duly seconded by Councilmember APPROVED <br />Eggert and carried unanimously. <br />
