~~ <br />C <br />I~~ <br />L~ <br />44I MUTES <br />REGULAR CITY COUNCIL MEETING <br />OCTO'~R 27, 1982 <br />A regular meeting of the Falcon Heights City Council was called to order <br />at 7:30 P.M. by Mayor Warkentien. <br />~?ayor V~~arkentien, Councilmembers Chestovich, Eggert, Larson and Ciernia. <br />Also present were Clerk Administrator Barnes, Attorney Swanson and Engineer <br />Lemberg. <br />A?one . <br />Councilmember Eggert moved, seconded by Councilmember Larson, that the <br />Consent Agenda be approved as presented. Liquor Store Financial Report for September, 1982 <br />Councilmember Larson moved, seconded by Mayor titi~arkentien, that the <br />Minutes of September 22, 1982 be approved. Upon a vote being taken <br />the following voted in favor thereof: Mayor 'Narkentien, Council- <br />members Chestovich, Eggert and Larson, and the following voted against <br />the same: None. Councilmember Ciernia abstained. Motion carried. <br />Councilmember Eggert moved, seconded by Councilmember Ciernia, that <br />the Minutes of October 5, 1982 be approved with the fallowing correct- <br />ions: (1) Title for Resolution tc show X225,000 general obligation <br />bonds (2) Page 5, Paragraph 2, add the word "not" (should not be <br />assessed, etc.) to Councilmember Eggert's statement, and (3) Page 8, <br />Paragraph 5, give the reason for Councilmember Eggert's abstention: <br />and Councilmember Larson's "no" vote. Upon a vote being taken, the <br />following voted in favor thereof : :vlayor 'Narkentien, Councilmembers <br />Eggert, Larson and Ciernia, and the following voted against the same: <br />More. Councilmember Chestovich abstained. Motion carried. <br />Ivtartin Christiansen, 1721 Holton, requested permission. to sell <br />Christmas trees from his lawn from November 26 through i3ecember 20, <br />as he has done for the past two years. Mr. Christiansen had obtained <br />signatures of nine neighbors granting their approval. Councilmember <br />Larson. moved, seconded by Mayor 1'~~rarkentien, that the request be <br />granted.
