MINUTES ~ ` <br />REGULAR CITY COUNCIL MEETING <br />MARCH 9, 1983 <br />PAGE 6 <br />the Planning Commission at their March 7, 1983 meeting unanimously HEWLETT <br />concurred that they would favorably view the anticipated B-lA rezoning PACKAtZD <br />of the five acre parcel subject to the final presentation of the over- (cont.) <br />all plans and subject to input from the abutting homeowners on Tatum <br />and future owners of the 17 acre Hawkins property to the north. Fo11ow- <br />ing a discussion of the matter, Councilmember Ciernia moved, seconded by <br />Councilmember Larson, that Hewlett Packard be informed that Council <br />concurs with the action of the Planning Commission and, conceptually, <br />has no trouble with rezoning the property. Motion carried unanimously. <br />1 <br /> <br />Councilmember Ciernia explained that Hewlett Packard is applying for <br />subdivision of their present proge ny to accommodate the City in making <br />use of Tax Increment Financing in relation to their proposed addition. <br />The subdivision matter wi11 be addressed after Hewlett Packard has <br />completed the survey. <br />Attorney Van de North presented a detailed statement of 1ega1 charges LEGAL <br />as requested by Council. He informed Covncil that his firm presently CHARGES <br />is giving Falcon Heights legal services at a reduced rate.
