• MINUTES REGULAR CITY COUNCIL MEETING JULY 13, 1983 PAGE 3 Engineer Sahunicht reviewed the change order for Austin J. Keller CHANGE ORDERS Construction on the construction of the ponds for Falcon Woods No. ON PONDING 3 and ad3acent parcels. The change order will reduce the size of FOR FALCON the pond as Hewlett Packard has not as yet purchased the Hermes WOODS 3 property and the ponding will be constructed to serve Good Value APPROVED Homes and the Hawkins property only. These changes will delete $10,177.50 from the contract. Councilmember Larson moved, seconded by Councilmember Chestovich, to approve the change order as presented. Motion carried unanimously. Mayor Warkentien moved, seconded by Councilmember Larson, that Resolution 83-21 be adopted. Motion carried unanimously. RESOLUTION 83-21 RESOLUTION 83-21 A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING FINAL PAYMENT OF $15,2112.811 TO ASHHACH CONSTRUCTION COMPANY FOR THE ALHERT/PASCAL STREET IMPROVEMENTS Mayor Warkentien moved, seconded by Councilmember Larson, that Resolution 83-22 be adopted, Motion carried unanimously. RESOLUTION 83-22 RESOLUTION 83-22 A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE PRELIMINARY LAYOUTS FOR THE TRANSITWAY INTERCONNECTING THE ST. PAUL CAMPUS OF THE UNI9ERSITY OF MINNESOTA WITH THE MINNEAPOLIS CAMPUS REQUEST TO Philip Raup, 1572 Fulham, Aloysius Quebbeanann, 1561 Fulham and Fatricia PARK ON Ferrari, 1576 Fulham, had submitted a request that they be allowed to DURING DRIVE- park on the street while their driveways are under construction. Motion carried unanimously. 1572, 15611 & 1576 FvLHa: Mayor Warkentien presented a letter dated June 2q, 1983 from James W. Maenner, Trust Real Estate Officer, First Bank of Minneapolis (represent- $3,000 PARK ing the Charles Hawkins Estate) offering payment of cash in the amount of DEDICATION $3,000 in lieu of land park dedication on the remainder of the Hawkins TO BE PAID property. ESTATE Clerk Administrator Barnes explained that the Dennis LeMay unemployment ~~~ ON compensation matter is being appealed. LEMAY UN- Ed~lPLOYMENT COMP. A note from Deputy Vandeberg regarding the July 3rd fireworks display at the Fairgrounds was noted. The Deputy had requested assistance from JULY 3RD the City of St. Paul and no one responded even though the event was FIREWORKS- sponsored by the St. Paul Parks and Recreation Departanent.
