Hermes requesting permission to blacktop a 90 foot by NORBERT HERME~ <br />12-1/2 foot strip of grass on the boulevard adjacent to Larpenteur Ave. TO BLACKTOP <br />due to the difficulty of maintaining the area. Councilmember Ciernia BOULEVARD AREA <br />felt the request should be deferred at this time and referred to the ALONG LARP. <br />Planning Commission and the Neighborhood Citizens Advisory Committee 1VEAR HERMES <br />for consideration as part of the overall development plan. After CENTER <br />further discussion, Councilmember Ciernia moved, seconded by Council- ~'~RED TO <br />member Larson, that the Hennes request be referred to the Planning PLANNING COMM. <br />Commission and Citizens Committee. She was advised that the County Board has the <br />item on their agenda for consideration and the signs wi11 be in- <br />Council considered a request from Henrietta Thom, 1l~02 W. Idaho, for <br />reimbursement of a portion of the cost of a boulevard tree which she <br />planted. After a discussion, Mayor Warkentien moved, seconded by <br />Councilme~nber Larson, that Mrs. Thom be reimbursed an amount not to <br />exceed $25.00. Motion carried unanimously. <br />The Ramsey County Sheriff's 1981 Agreement for Law Enforcement was <br />discussed. Councilmember Ciernia moved, seconded by Councilmember <br />Eggert, that the 198l~ Agreement for Law Enforcement be approved. <br />Motion carried unanimously. <br />H. THOM , <br />1102 W.
