Follow-pLAyGkOUNv <br />ing a discussion, Councilmember Chestovich moved, seconded by Counci3member <br />Eggert, that Council approve the additional expenditure of X1,512 to provide <br />for extra employees, the amount to be taken from the Contingency Fund. <br />Motion carried unanimously. Council consensus regarding establishment PLEASUttE KINK <br />of a pleasure rink at Falcon Heights School was very positive and the AT SCHOOL <br />matter will be discussed again at the next Park and Recreation Commission CONSIllEREli <br />meeting. The Clerk Administrator was directed to write a letter to the <br />Roseville Schools regarding the City's intent to establish such a rink <br />and to absolve the school from liability. <br />Attorney Gasteazoro advised that Attorney Van de North met with Westlund CITY HALL <br />Construction on November 11, 1y83 to discuss the matter of incompleted COMPLETION <br />work on the Community Building. It is the intent of Westlund Construction UPVAT~ <br />to complete the necessary work. <br />A letter from the Minnesota Chapter of American Public dVorks Association MUTUAL ATU <br />regarding a cooperative approach to set up mutual aid assistance groups 11ISCUSSTON <br />around the state to provide the basis for aiding one another during major <br />disasters (flood, tornado, windstrom) was discussed. Council was in <br />agreement with the concept but felt the Maintenance llepartment should be <br />asked for input. ~e Attorney ~ri.ll review the document before approval. <br />CUKB SI1~; <br />President Joann Nelson, Recycling Unlimited, informed that on the 4th PICK-UP TO <br />Friday of each month there will be curb side pickup of recycleable items. xE(:yCLEABLEs <br />The service has been requested by a number of Falcon Heights residents TO HH;GIN IN <br />and has already been initiated in St. Paul and Lauderdale.
