MINUTES <br />REGULAR CITY COUNCIL MEETING <br />MARCH 8, 1978 <br />A regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Falcon <br />Heights was called to order by Mayor Warkentien at 7:30 p.m. <br />Mayor Warkentien, Councilmembers Black, McGough, Steele <br />and Brown. Also present were Clerk Administrator Barnes, <br />Engineer Lemberg and Attorney John VanDeNorth. <br />None. <br />Councilman Black moved approval of the Consent Agenda <br />with the exception of Corp. License #446 for Roc-A- <br />Fellas, 1544 W. Larpenteur Avenue to be taken up for <br />discussion on the regular agenda, seconded by Council- <br />person Brown. <br />1. Fire & Rescue Reports 022 <br />2. General Disbursements in the amount of $15,588.60 <br />3. Liquor Disbursements i n the a mount of $6,884.22 <br />4. General Payroll in the amount of $4,140.76 <br />5. Liquor Payroll in the amount of $1,937.51 <br />6. Licenses: <br />GENERAL CORPORATE <br />1 <br /> <br />Hair Design Unlimited #444 <br />1703 N. Snelling <br />Falcon Heights, Minn <br />Joan Tilsdale - Owner <br />Transfer <br />2~ <br />PRESENT <br />ABSENT <br />CONSENT AGENDA <br />Upon a vote being taken, the following voted "aye": Mayor <br />Warkentien, Coumcilmembers Black, McGough, Steele and <br />Brown.. The following voted "nay": None. Motion carried. <br />Councilman Black moved, seconded <br />to approve the General Corporate <br />Fella, 1544 W. Larpenteur Avenue <br />center. Upon a vote being taken <br />Mayor Warkentien, Councilmembers <br />Councilperson Brown and the foil <br />man Steele.- Motion carried. <br />by Councilman McGough <br />License #446 to Roc-A- <br />to operate an amusement <br />the following voted "aye": <br />Black, McGough and <br />swing voted "nay": Council- <br />ROC-A-FELLS <br />MARK RUTZICK <br />CORP. LICENSE <br />Councilman Steele noted that it would be detrimental to the <br />area and application for the center was based on the original <br />assumption the Job Corps Center would be approved for the <br />Bethel College site. Any collection point of juveniles is <br />not what Falcon Heights needs in the area. <br />
