MINUTES REGULAR CITY COUNCIL MEETING MARCH 8, 1978 A regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Falcon Heights was called to order by Mayor Warkentien at 7:30 p.m. Mayor Warkentien, Councilmembers Black, McGough, Steele and Brown. Also present were Clerk Administrator Barnes, Engineer Lemberg and Attorney John VanDeNorth. None. Councilman Black moved approval of the Consent Agenda with the exception of Corp. License #446 for Roc-A- Fellas, 1544 W. Larpenteur Avenue to be taken up for discussion on the regular agenda, seconded by Council- person Brown. 1. Fire & Rescue Reports 022 2. General Disbursements in the amount of $15,588.60 3. Liquor Disbursements i n the a mount of $6,884.22 4. General Payroll in the amount of $4,140.76 5. Liquor Payroll in the amount of $1,937.51 6. Licenses: GENERAL CORPORATE 1 Hair Design Unlimited #444 1703 N. Snelling Falcon Heights, Minn Joan Tilsdale - Owner Transfer 2~ PRESENT ABSENT CONSENT AGENDA Upon a vote being taken, the following voted "aye": Mayor Warkentien, Coumcilmembers Black, McGough, Steele and Brown.. The following voted "nay": None. Motion carried. Councilman Black moved, seconded to approve the General Corporate Fella, 1544 W. Larpenteur Avenue center. Upon a vote being taken Mayor Warkentien, Councilmembers Councilperson Brown and the foil man Steele.- Motion carried. by Councilman McGough License #446 to Roc-A- to operate an amusement the following voted "aye": Black, McGough and swing voted "nay": Council- ROC-A-FELLS MARK RUTZICK CORP. LICENSE Councilman Steele noted that it would be detrimental to the area and application for the center was based on the original assumption the Job Corps Center would be approved for the Bethel College site. Any collection point of juveniles is not what Falcon Heights needs in the area.
