HANSON CO. <br />MUNICIPAL <br />AUDIT <br />Council discussed and made note of the April Liquor <br />Store Financial report submitted by Yellen 8 Assoc. <br />Councilmember McGough stated he did not feel the report <br />is giving the City a true picture of the financial status. <br />Mayor Warkentien read a letter received from Rep. Walter .LETTER FROM <br />Hansen supporting us on the St. Anthony Storm Sewer REP. WALTER <br />Project. HANSEN <br />Mayor Warkentien discussed with council the possibility <br />of joining the North Suburban Chamber of Commerce. The <br />City-had received a letter inviting the members of the <br />council to become members of their organization. <br />Enclosed was an application and notation of the $85.00 <br />member"ship fee. Deferred to budget time. <br />NORTH SUBURBAN <br />CHAMBER OF <br />COMMERCE <br />Mrs. Hennrietta Thom presented a letter requesting HENNRIETTA <br />reimbursement for costs incurred due to spraying and THOM - <br />also requested the tree be trimmed. Clerk Administrator 1402 Idaho <br />Barnes suggested the letter be referred to Dr. French. <br />Attorney Kenefick reported he had checked further on COMMUNITY <br />the Community School Program and stated that it seems SCHOOL <br />vague in their proposals and statutes. Councilmember <br />Black noted he had received a call from Jim Clausen, <br />Director of Community Ed and indicated that he had <br />attended a meeting called by Lloyd Nielson, Supt of <br />Dist. 623 and Frank Rog, Rec. Director, Roseville. It <br />was decided at that meeting, all girls from Falcon <br />Heights interested in softball will be able to partici- <br />pate with Roseville with no extra charge. There is <br />also some room for Falcon Heights tennis students at <br />Fairview at no added charge. <br />Councilmember Black requested the Planning Commission PLANNING <br />be notified of the June 5, 1978 meeting as there are <br />several things to be discussed. Councilmember Black <br />also made council aware that a neighbor had purchased <br />some blacktop and was filling a hole in the street at <br />the end of his driveway, 1870 N. Albert, the Dick <br />Brust residence. Clerk Administrator Barnes was to <br />advise the maintenance men to check out all streets <br />for patching. <br />Councilmember McGough moved to extend the meeting MEETING <br />to 11:15 p. m., seconded by Mayor Warkentien. Upon EXTENSION TO <br />Upon a vote being taken the following voted "aye": 11:15 p.m. <br />Mayor Warkentien, Councilmembers Black, McGough and <br />Brown and the following voted "nay": None. Motion <br />carried. <br />
