°`` ~~ <br />f] <br />MINUTES <br />REGULAR CITY COUNCIL MEETING <br />JUNE 14, 1978 <br />Page 9 <br />Clerk Administrator Barnes brought before council a <br />proposal by Art's Towing to allocate some land for an <br />impounding area for cars during the State Fair at Idaho- <br />Snelling. The city would reci.eve $10.00 of the $25.00 <br />plus $3.00 storage that he now charges. We would have <br />to have someone down there collecting fees. He could <br />then keep a truck here in the city instead of going to <br />English Street and back every time. It would be easier <br />for people to pick up cars here rather than going to <br />Maplewood. The hours suggested were ll:oo a.m. to <br />l:oo a. m., the attendant would be paid out of the im- <br />pounding fees, lighting would be provided by the park <br />lights. No action taken. <br />ARTS TOWING <br />PROPOSAL - <br />IMPOUND AREA <br />1 <br /> <br />Mayor Warkentien introduced a letter from Mayor Latimar CRIMINAL <br />stating there were four positions open on the Criminal JUSTICE BOARD <br />Justice Board and recommended Pete McGough as a candidate. <br />Councilmember Steele moved, seconded by Councilmember ADJOURNMENT <br />McGough to adjourn at 11:00 p.m. Upon a vote being <br />taken, the following voted "aye": Mayor Warkentien, <br />Councilmembers Black, McGough, Steele and Brown and the <br />following voted "nay": None.
