9~ <br />MINUTES <br />REGULAR CITY COUNCIL MEETING <br />JUNE 28, 1978 <br />Page 4 <br />Councilmember McGough reported on the refuse container COHEN <br />built behind the buildings on Cohen property, 1550 West PROPERTY <br />Larpenteur. Councilmember McGough stated it is of REFUSE <br />sound construction, but is not appealing. Atty Kenefick CONTAINER <br />was requested to check the container to determine if <br />Mr. Cohen had violated any ordinances. <br />Engineer Lemberg informed council he checked the washout FOLLWELL <br />on Folwell caused by the last rain fall. The cave in BLVD. WASH- <br />was due to a broken culvert. He suggested the University OUT <br />should be responsible for the construction of the line and <br />repair it at their cost. <br />Engineer Lemberg also reviewed with council the drainage DRAINAGE <br />problem at Hollywood Court. He maintains the drainage PROBLEM - <br />from the Grain Terminal parking lot is creating to great HOLLYWOOD <br />a drainage flow, thereby creating flooding problems. He COURT <br />suggests we discuss the problem with GTA and also the <br />need of the St Anthony Storm Drainage project. <br />Councilmember Brown suggested .the council authorize a FLOATING <br />floating holiday for City employees for one day a year HOLIDAY <br />subject to approval of the Clerk Administrator. AUTHORIZATION <br />Councilmember Brown moved, seconded by Councilmember. <br />Steele to approve a floating holiday for all full time <br />employees... Upon a vote being taken the following voted <br />"aye": Mayor Warkentien, Councilmembers McGough, Steele <br />and Brown and the following voted "nay": None. Motion <br />carried.. <br />Councilmember Steele moved, seconded by Mayor Warkentien ADJOURNMENT <br />to adjourn at 9:58 p. m. Upon a vote being taken the <br />following voted "aye": Mayor Warkentien, Coucilmembers <br />McGough, Steele and Brown and the following voted "nay": <br />None.
