i~LCNUTES <br />REGULAR CITY COUNCIL MEETING ~ ~~ <br />JULY 12, 1978 <br />A regular meeting of the City Council of the Cit;,= of Falcon Heights <br />was called to order by Acting Mayor Black at 7:30 p.m. <br />Acting Mayor Black, Councilmembers AlcGough and Brown. Also present PRESENT <br />were Clerk Administrator Barnes, Engineer Lemberg and Ac-ccrney Kenefick. <br />I~layor Warkentien, out of town, Councilmember Steele delayed. <br />Councilmember McGough moved, seconded by Councilmember 3rown to approve <br />the Consent Agenda as follows: <br />1. Fire & Rescue Reports 62 through 66 <br />2. General Payroll June 16-30 $1,317.17 <br />3. General Disbursements $J~,109.31 <br />(June disbursement $510.37 <br />(July disbursement $3,598.94 <br />!~. Liquor Payroll June 16-30 $2,106.75 <br />5. Liquor Disbursements $18,253.66 <br />(June Disbursement $120.18 <br />(July Disbursement $18,133.18 <br />6. Licenses <br />(see attached) <br />7. Sinking Fund $5,538.83 <br />Upon a vote being taken the following voted "aye": Acting Mayor Black, <br />Councilmenioers McGough and Brown and the following voted "nay": None. <br />Motion carried. <br />Plotion by Councilmembe~^ 3ro~•rn, seconded by Councilmember McGough to <br />approve the June 28, 1978 minutes as corrected. Unanimously carried. <br />ABSENT <br />CONSENT AGENDA <br />APPROVAL OF <br />t~iPrUTEs <br />JUNE 28, 1978 <br />Acting Mayor Black presented the Conditional Use request of R.E. <br />Yahnke - 1776 Simpson to erect a utility shed. The Planning Commission CONDITIONAL USE <br />indicated approval pending receipt of a letter from the neighbors on 1776 SIMPSON <br />the north. R, E. YAHNK~; <br />Actir~ Mayor ;31ack mcved approval of the Conditional Use request of <br />R. E. Yahnke - 17?~ Simpson for a utility shed pending receipt of a <br />letter of approval from the neighbors to the north. Also, providing '~~'' <br />it is located 7' from side lot line and 15' from the rear lot line. <br />Councilmember Brown seconded. Upon a vote being taken the following <br />voted "aye": Actin€ Mayor Black, Councilmembers McGough and Brown. <br />Councilmember Steele arrived at 7:1}0 p.m. COUNCILI~MBER <br />STEELS ARRIOAL <br />Engineer Lemberg informed council the 1978 seal coating 'oids should <br />again be advertised on the 8th of August, 1978 for 2:00 p.m. SEAL COATING <br />opening. Bids to be ready for council on the 9th of August, 1978 BID DATE <br />as the first set of bids were rejected due to excessive costs. <br />Councilmember McGough moved to authorize the Clerk Admunistrator <br />to advertise the 1978 seal coating bids for August 8, 1978, 2 p.m. <br />at City Ha11. Upon a vote being taken the following voted "aye": <br />Acting Nia~cr Black, McGough and Brown. Councilmember Steele <br />abstained. <br />
