MINUTES ii <br />i~~ <br />REGULAR CITY COUNCIL MEETING <br />OCTO 3ER 11, 1978 <br />A regular meeting of the Falcon Heights City Council was called to order <br />by Mayor Warkentien at 7:30 P.M. <br />T~layor Warkentien, Councilrnembers 31acr:, T~cGough, Steele and Brown. PRESENT <br />Also present were C1er~~ Adnu.n:strator Barnes, Attorney Kenefi ck and <br />Engineer Lemberg. <br />None. ABSENT <br />Councilmember 3rown moved, seconded by Councilmember Steele to approve APPROVAL OF <br />the Consent Age:da as follows, subject to clarification of Fire Report CONSENT AGENDA <br />#94-78 (Gas washdown - Hoyt and Snelling}: <br />1. Ramsey County August 1978 Sheriff's report. <br />2. Fire Reports and Rescue 91-95. <br />3. Falcon Heights Human Rights Commission Minutes of Sept. 20, <br />1978. <br />4. Recreation Advisory Committee T~Ieeting NTinutes of Oct. 3, 1978. <br />5. General Payroll - 9/16/78 $4,104.49. <br />6. Liquor Payrcll - 9/16/78 $1,913.09. <br />7. Kermit Tree Service <br />P.O. 2239 #519 <br />North St. Paul, NTn. 55109 <br />Upon a vote being taken the following voted "aye": Mayor Warkentien, <br />Councilrriernbers 31ack, McGough, Steele and ~3rown, and the following <br />voted "nay": None. Motion carried. <br />Barbara Hughes, representing the Metro Clean Air Committee, appeared N;ETRO CLEAN <br />before the Council to discuss any concerns the Council might have in AIR CONIT"fITTEE <br />respect to the proposed amendments to the Clean Air Act, which the REPRESENTATIVE <br />President of the United States requested be rewritten and enacted. BARB HUGHES <br />Barbara Hughes requested Council appoint some member of the Council <br />who would be the contact person for meetings and data made available <br />to the community by the Clean Air Committee. Mayor Warkentien <br />appointed Councilmember ~3rown to be the City Representative to receive <br />data and represent the City at scheduled meetings. <br />Douglas G. Wood, Representative for the Ramsey County Community Health RANISEY COUNTY <br />Service, appeared before the Council to discuss the purpose of the COMMUNITY HEALTH <br />Environmental Health Prcgram. Mr. Wood suggested the Council permit PROGRAM <br />REPRESENTATIVE <br />DOUGLAS G. WOOD <br />
