MINUTES <br />REGULAR CITY COUNCIL MN~TING <br /> <br />OCTOBER 25, 1978 <br />A regular meeting of the Falcon Heights City Council was called <br />to order by Mayor Warkentien at 7:30 p.m. <br />Mayor Warkentien, CounciLaembers Black, McGough and Brown. Also <br />present was Clerk Administrator Barnes. <br />Councilmember Steele due to another counnitment. <br />Councilmember Brown moved, seconded b'9 ,Ocuncilme:aber McGough to <br />approve the Consent Agenda. Unanimously carried. #See Page ~ <br />Councilmemiber Black moved, seconded by Councilme:aber Brown, to <br />approve the 5epteaaber 27, 1978 minutes as corrected. Motion <br />carried unanimously. <br />Mayor Warkentien reported that he was present at the emriron- <br />mental meeting of Ramsey Counter Health Dept., and it was decided <br />Falcon Heights would get a Ramsey County Comeuunity Health Officer <br />when the program is finalized at the December Ramsey County Com- <br />munity Health Board meeting. <br />This was due to Douglas Woodst presentation at the last Council <br />meeting . <br />1 <br /> <br />Councilmember McGough moved, seconded by Councilmeanber Brown to <br />approve the October 11, 1978 minutes as corrected. Motion carried <br />unanimously. <br />Councilmember Black moved, seconded by Councilmeaiber McGotagh to <br />approve the Mayotte appointment of Betty B~rnst, 7.1167 W. Iowa Ave., <br />to the Park Development Committee. Motion carried unanimously. <br />Counci7.member Brown moved, seconded by Councilmember McGough to <br />approve the Mayotte appoini~ent of Phillip Shively, 1575 Nor]Ehrup, <br />to the Recreation. Advisory Commute®. The Mayor also in- <br />the Recreation Advisory Coa- <br />tthe evening before and made <br />Councilmember Brown reviexed past discussion by Council at the last <br />Council Meeting in respect to the 1979 Park and Recreation Budget <br />and noted that both ccenaittees were requested to meet and come back <br />with a proposal for Council to consider. <br />Councilmeanber Brown also commented on the petition which was on file. <br />In reviewing it, it was found soave signatures were those of children, <br />others did not live in Falcon Heights and some people who had signed <br />called and said they were not sure what they had signed, or would <br />like to have their names removed froaa t2:e petition. <br />
