Motion carried. <br />Mayor Warkentien moved, seconded by Councilmember Brown to approve <br />Bond #52338518 for $10,000.00 bonding the Clerk Administrator. The <br />bonding is by the Safeco Insurance Co. of America. Motion carried <br />unanimously. <br />Garnet Gallimore appeared before Council requesting that Council <br />favorably reconsider the Standard Oil request for a sign, as pro- <br />posed at the Deceanber 13, 1978 meeting. <br />Councilmem:b®r McGough made a motion, ~aeconded by Councilme:aber Brown, <br />that the matter of the Standard Oil sign be opened for reconsideration. <br />Upon a vote bea.ng taken the following voted ~rayeu: Mayor Warkentien, <br />Councilmeanbers Black, McGough and Brown, and the following voted rrnay-r; <br />Councilmember Steele. Motion carried. <br />After a lengthy discussion, the Council suggested in the future uniform <br />signs should be considered. <br />Councilmember McGough moved, seconded by Mayor Warkentien, that the <br />Standard Oil (Amoco) sign be approved as requested. Upoa a vote being <br />taken the following voted~~aye~~: Mayor Warkentien, Councilmembers <br />McGough and Brown, and the following voted "nay~~: Councilme:nbers Black <br />and Steele. The paper is to be printed for LETTER <br />distribution by the weekend of January 20, 1979. <br />Mayor Warkentien presented suggested salary increases for the Liquor <br />Store employees as follows; <br />George Willkom <br />John Sosniecki <br />George Barbos <br />Maurice Cedarholm <br />Timothy Ryan <br />Colleen Ryan <br />Brent Wallstrom <br />$17,000.00 <br />$11,500.00 <br />$3.50 per hour <br />$3.35 per hour <br />$3.35 per hour <br />$3.35 per hour <br />$3.00 per hour <br />Mayor Warkentien moved, seconded by Councilmember Black, to approve the <br />Liquor Store salary increases as presented. Motion carried unanimously. <br />CounciLne~nber Black moved, seconded by Mayor Warkentien to authorize the CONTRACT WITH <br />Mayor and Clerk Administrator Barnes to sign the contract with Howard HOWARD DAHLGREN <br />C. Dahlgren and Associates as City Planner. Motion carried unanimously. AND ASSOC. <br />
