S. 161.36. <br /> <br />Councilmember Steele moved, seconded by Gouncilmember Brown to adopt <br />Resolution 79-5 -DOT Agreement. Motion carried unanimously. <br />RESOLUTION 79-6 <br />A RESOLUTION REQUESTII~GG ENGINEERI~~G AND TECHNICAL <br />ASSISTANCE (ETA) FROM THE STATE OF MINNESOTA AND <br />AUTHORIZING THE SIGNING OF THIS AGREEMEN'P <br />RESOLUTION 79-6 <br />ETA <br /> <br />Councilmember Steele moved, seconded by CouACilme~nber Brown to adopt <br />Resolution 79-6 -ETA Agreement. Motion carried unanimously. <br />Clerk Administrator Barnes advised Council that since Ramsey County STREET LIGHTING <br />will no longer pay for street lighting in Falcon Heights, he has <br />contacted Northern States Power and they recommend changing to high <br />pressur8 sodium lights, which would reduce the cost by 1/3 and at <br />the same time give us more lighting. <br />Mayor Warkentien moved, seconded by Councilmember McGough, to author- <br />ize Clerk Administrator Barnes to negotiate further with Northern <br />States Power regarding high pressure sodium lights and to come back to <br />Council on January 2l~, 1979 ~'~ a plan. Motion carried unanimously. <br />Mayor Warkentien moved, seconded by Councilmember McGough to authorize <br />Clerk Administrator Barnes to notify Roseville that Falcon Heights will <br />take over the light at Garden and Hamline (HO1) if Rosev3.11e takes <br />over the one at the Falcon Woods Park (COlt) entrance. Motion carried <br />unanimously. <br />Councilmember Black moved, seconded by Councilmember Steele to approve <br />cancellation of the following outstanding checks: <br />(1) Carousel Display Services (Liquor Fund) Check #x.993, dated <br />?/27/78, $296.00. <br />CANCELLATION OF <br />OUTSTANDING <br />CHECKS <br />
