MINUTES <br />REGULAR CITY COUNCIL MEETING <br />MARCH 11~, 1979 <br />A regular meeting of the Falcon Heights City Council was called to <br />order by Mayor Warkentien at 7:30 p.m. <br />Mayor Warkentien, Councilmembers Black, McGough, Steele and Brawn. PRESENT <br />A1~o present were Deputy Clerk Rolek, Attorney Kenefick and Engineer <br />Lear}berg . <br />NonQ. ~ ABSENT <br />~~ <br />Councilmember Black moved, seconded by Councilmember Brown to approve CONSENT AGENDA <br />the Consent Agenda as presented. Upon a vote being taken the following <br />voted "aye": Mayor Warkentien, Councilme~nbers Black, McGough, and Brown. <br />Councilmember Steele arrived at 7:t~0 p.m. <br />1. Park and Playground Development Committee Minutes of February, 1979 <br />8,: Human Rights Commission Minutes of February 15, 1979 <br />9 Liquor Report - January, 1979 <br />Z0. Ramsey County Sheriff's Report -February, 1979 <br />11. Recreation Advisory Committee Minutes of March 13, 1979 <br />Councilmeanber Black moved, seconded by Councilmember McGough to approve MINUTES OF <br />the Minutes of February 28, 1979 as corrected. Motion carried unanimously.FEB. 28,1979 <br />Engineer Le¢nberg informed Council that he and Bi11 Brown had met with GARDEN AVENUE <br />the Chief State Aid Engineer proposing Garden Avenue be widened to 32~ ENGINEER <br />with no parking instead of 3b' as planned. The Division State Aid LEMBERG <br />Engineer did examine the Garden Avenue site and then informed Engineer <br />Lemberg thes32' width would not be approved. <br />Bill:- Brawn, 1808 Asbury, appeared before Council requesting a time BILL BROWN <br />exten.ti~n in order that the citizen's group might appeal the decision. 1808 ASBURY <br />Counoi].~nember Steele moved, seconded by Councilmember Black that~the GARDEN AVENUE <br />Garden Avenue Citizen's Group be granted additional time to contact CITIZENS <br />the Sate Highway Department and restate their case and that the `.
