MINUTES <br />SPECIAL CITY COUNCIL MEETING <br />APRIL 17, 1979 <br />Page 6 <br />that the City give committee and commission members a certificate <br />of recognition. <br />Councilmember Brown informed ,that the Newsletter will be distributed <br />early in the week of April 23. <br />Clerk Administrator Barnes reported that the Deputy has requested NEW -~2 HOUR <br />the~~e hour parking signs on Tatum be replaced, as they are so faded PARKING~~ SIGNS <br />.the "no parking' rule cannot be enforced. FOR TATtJM <br />Mayor Warkentien moved, seconded by Councilmember I~icGough that the <br />Clerk Administrator be authorized to purchase new ~~2 hour parking~~ <br />signs to be placed on Tatum Street. Motion. carried unanimously. <br />Clerk Administrator Barnes presented the statement from the auditor, AUDITOR~~S <br />George M. Hansen &..S4ris, for $1~,1~00.00 and requested permission to BILL PRESENTEE <br />pay the bill. Councilmember Brown moved, seconded by Councilmember FOR PAXMENT <br />McGough to pay George M. Hansen & Sons $1~,~00.00 for their services. <br />Motion carried unanimously. <br />Clerk Administrator Barnes read a letter from the Ramsey County <br />Engineer requesting the City help fund the improvement of Roselawn <br />Ave. from Cleveland to Fulham at a cost of $87,000.00 to the City. <br />After some discussion it was decided to refer the matter to Engineer <br />Lemberg . <br />Mayor Warkentien suggested an appropriate plaque or some similiar <br />item be presented to Mrs. Bi11 Black in memory of Bi11. <br />Councilmember Brown moved, seconded by Councilmember McGough, that ADJOU~ENT <br />the meeting be adjourned at 10:l~5 p.m. Motion carried unanimously. <br />/.._ <br />r , s <br />Willis C. 6.
