MINUTES <br />REGULAR CITY COUNCIL i°fEETING <br />JULY 11, 1979 <br />PAGE 7 <br />Councilmember McGough suggested the trails in the Community Par's CULVERTS TO <br />be signed designatiizg the length of the trail He also requested BE i'LACED <br />permission to place two culverts across the trails to alleviate ACROSS PARK <br />water standing on the trails. This would be done at Councilmember TRAILS <br />McGough's expense. Permission was granted. <br />As requested by Council, Engineer Lemberg presented an analysis NORT13WEST AREA <br />regarding the possibility of running the storm sewer for the north- STORM SEWER <br />west section of Falcon Heights down Larpenteur Avenue across to the PRESENTATION <br />Idaho-Snelling pond. It was determined that the plan is not feasible <br />due to the fact that the ponding area is not large enough and the <br />pumping system would have to be of such a large capacity that the <br />Hoyt storm sewer could not handle it. <br />Councilmember Steele inquired about police calls on the State Fair POLICE CALLS <br />Grounds and inquired if the City is reimbursed in any way. It was ON FAIRGROUNDS <br />suggested that Clerk Administrator 3arnes and Councilmember McGough <br />meet W1tI1 Mike Heffron regarding the matter. <br />Councilmember McGough moved, seconded by Councilmember Erown, to GARDEN AVE. & <br />authorize Cleric Administrator Barnes and Mayor 6darkentien to sign SEALCOATING <br />the Garden Avenue Improvement and 1379 Sealcoating contracts. Motion CO;dTRACTS TO <br />carried unanimously. BE SIGNED <br />Clerk Administrator Barnes presented to Council proposed Resolution <br />79-19 restricting parking on the south side of Roselawn Avenue. <br />Mayor l~arkentien moved adoption of the resolution, seconded by <br />Councilmember McGough.
