Motion 1868 HOLTON <br />carried unanimously. <br />Lawrence Sieberlich, representing Bob Moder, presented proposed PLANS FOR ~~ <br />plans for an eleven unit condominium which would be built oii Mr. CONDOMINIUM <br />Moder's property at 2061 W. Larpenteur. Councilmember Steele 2061 LARPENTEUR <br />moved, seconded by Councilmember McGough, that the matter be re- REFERRED TO <br />ferred to the Planning Commission. Motion carried unanimously. PLANNING COMM. <br />Mayor Warkentien read a request from residents of Tatum Street <br />requesting "no parking" on the. cast side of Tatum as far north <br />as 1795 Tatum. Councilmember McGough moved, seconded by Mayor <br />Warkentien, that some of the residents of Tatum Street be requested <br />to attend the September 12, 1979 Council Meeting to discuss the <br />matter. Motion carried unanimously. <br />REQUEST FOR <br />NO PARKING ON <br />EAST SIDE OF <br />TATUM DEFERRED <br />TO SEPT. 12 <br />Engineer Lemberg informed Council that it will be necessary to re- RELOCATION OF <br />locate the Roselawn Avenue water main (Fairview to Cleveland) due WATER MAIN <br />to the fact that during reconstruction of Roselawn the road will ROSELAWN AVENUE <br />be lowered considerably to provide better drainage for the homes <br />along Roselawn Avenue. The Water Department has given 3 options <br />for the relocation of the water main as follows: <br />1. Adjust water main, service connections and hydrants (all <br />work by the Water Utility) $30,350.00 <br />2. Adjust water main, service connections and hydrants (pipe- <br />work by the Water Utility, excavation, backfilling and pipe <br />handling equipment by County contractor) $10,555.00 <br />3. Adjust water main, service connections and hydrants (all <br />work by County contractor, including pressure and electrical <br />testing, inspection by the Water Utility) Inspection costs <br />$2,000.00 <br />Engineer Lemberg recommended that the change be made by the County <br />contractor as part of the street project in order that the cost <br />will be covered by State Aid Funds. <br />Councilmember McGough moved, seconded by Mayor Warkentien, that <br />Option ~~3 be implemented, the work being done by the County con- <br />tractor, with inspection by the Water Utility, with the stipulation <br />that the contractor pay for the inspection, thus including it in <br />the State Aid Contract. Motion carried unanimously. <br />
