Building Inspector's Report - August, 1979 <br />9. Planning Commission Minutes of September 10, 1979 <br />,, <br />Clerk Administrator Barnes recommended that the fall dump date be set DUMP DATES SET <br />from October 19 through October 28, 1979. Councilmember McGough OCT. 19-28 <br />moved, seconded by Councilmember Brown, that the dump dates be set <br />as recommended by the Clerk Administrator. Motion carried unanimously. <br />Clerk Administrator Barnes presented a letter from P. J. Sethna, BOULEVARD TREE <br />2147 W. Hoyt, requesting permission to plant a tree on the boulevard TO BE PLANTED <br />in front of his home. Council authorized Clerk Administrator Barnes AT 2147 HOYT <br />to advise Mr. Sethna that he may plant a Hackberry tree on the <br />boulevard at no expense to the City, the location of the tree place- <br />ment to be determined by the Clerk Administrator. <br />Engineer Lemberg provided an update on the Garden Avenue construction ENGINEER LEMBERG <br />project and the sealcoating east of Snelling. <br />Clerk Administrator Barnes presented to Council the following bids NEW TRUCK TO <br />received on a new truck for the City: BE PURCHASED <br />Midway Ford $5,546.24 FOR CITY <br />Rosedale Chevpolet $5,693.72 <br />White Bear Dodge $6,108.90 <br />GMC $6,170.00 <br />Councilmember Steele moved, seconded by Councilmember McGough that the <br />bid from Midway Ford (5,546.24) be accepted and that the truck be <br />purchased from the Sanitary Sewer Fund. Motion carried unanimously. <br />Mayor Warkentien read a letter from Cable Television, InC. informing -.- <br />that they are interested in being franchised in this area. <br />Councilmember Steele moved, seconded by Mayor Warkentien, that the ADJOURNMENT <br />meeting be adjourned at 11:00 p.m. Motion carried unanimously. <br />
