Motion carried unanimously. <br />1 <br /> <br />After a discussion of the proposed Fire Protection Budget Mayor <br />Warkentien moved, seconded by Councilmember Steele that the $2,250 <br />maximum for Conventions and Meetings for the Fire Department be <br />used at the Fire Chief's discretion. Motion carried unanimously. <br />Q <br />Due to the fact that the Ramsey County Sheriff's Department will <br />not tow illegally parked cars unless the"no parking" sign stipulates <br />"towing zone" Council determined the Street Sign Budget should be '° <br />increased to cover the cost of purchasing "towing zone" signs to <br />be used during the State Fair. Mayor Warkentien moved, seconded <br />by Councilmember Steele that the Street Sign Budget be increased <br />from $300.00 to $1,300.00. Motion carried unanimously. <br />Council did not take affirmative action on the Budget and will <br />discuss the matter again at the meeting of September 26, 1979. <br />Councilmember Steele moved, seconded by Councilmember McGough, that ADJOURNMENT <br />the meeting be adjourned at 10:13 p.m. Motion carried unanimously. <br />Willis C.
