MINUTES <br />SPECIAL CITY COUNCIL MEETING <br />JANUARY 8, 1980 <br />PAGE 2 <br />Councilmember Steele moved seconded by Councilmember Brown that Resolut- <br />ion 80-3 be adopted. Motion carried unanimously. <br />RESOLUTION 80-3 <br />A RESOLUTION REGARDING THE SAFETY DEPOSIT BOX AT <br />THE NORTH STAR STATE BANK <br />1 <br />u <br />I- <br />~~ <br />RESOLUTION 80-3 <br />SAFETY DEPOSIT <br />BOX <br />Councilmember Steele moved, seconded by Councilmember Brown that the OFFICIAL PAPER <br />St. Paul Dispatch-Pioneer Press again be designated as the official DESIGNATED FOR <br />paper for the City of Falcon Heights for the year 1980. Motion carried X980 <br />unanimously. <br />Mayor Warkentien moved, seconded by Councilmember Brown that the legal LEGAL FIRM <br />firm of Briggs and Morgan be designated as the legal firm for the City DESIGNATED <br />of Falcon Heights for the year 1980. Motion carried unanimously. FOR 1980 <br />Councilmember Brown moved, seconded by Mayor Warkentien that the firm ENGINEERING <br />of Bonestroo, Rosene, Anderlilc and Associates, Inc. be designated the FIRM DESIGNATED <br />engineering firm for the City of Falcon Heights for the year 1980. FOR 1980 <br />Motion carried unanimously. <br />Mayor Warkentien moved, seconded by Councilmember Brown that the firm FISCAL CONSULT- <br />of Juran and Moody be designated the fiscal consultant for the City ANT DESIGNATED <br />of Falcon Heights for the year 1980. Motion carried unanimously. FOR 1980 <br />Mayor Warkentien moved, seconded by Councilmember Steele that Council- ACTING MAYOR <br />member Helen Brown be reappointed Acting Mayor for the year 1980. APPOINTED FOR <br />Upon a vote being taken the following voted "aye": Mayor Warkentien, 1980 <br />Councilmembers Steele, Eggert and Larson, and the following voted <br />"nay": None. Councilmember Brown abstained. Motion carried. <br />Councilmember Steele moved, seconded by Councilmember Brown, that <br />Clerk Administrator Barnes be reappointed Civil Defense Director <br />for 1980. Motion carried unanimously. <br />Mayor Warkentien moved, seconded by Councilmember Brown that Frank <br />B. Eha be reappointed Gas Inspector for the year 1980. Motion <br />carried unanimously. <br />Mayor Warkentien moved, seconded by Councilmember Brown that Robert <br />Clausen be reappointed Electrical Inspector for the year 1980. <br />Motion carried unanimously. <br />Councilmember Steele moved, seconded by Councilmember Brown that Dr. <br />David French be reappointed Horticulturist for the City of Falcon <br />Heights for the year 1980. Motion carried unanimously. <br />Mayor Warkentien moved, seconded by Councilmember Brown that Richard <br />Alquist be reappointed Plumbing Inspector for the year 1980. Motion <br />carried unanimously. <br />Councilmember Brown moved, seconded by Mayor Warkentien that Larry <br />Squires be reappointed Building Inspector for the year 1980.
