ACHIEVEMENT CENTER Attorney Van de North informed Council that David Allen of the firm of Briggs and Morgan has been assigned to the City of Falcon Heights DAVID ALLEN to replace John R. Kenefick. TO BE CITY ATTORNEY Clerk Administrator Barnes reported to Council that a letter has been from the Minnesota Department of Transportation indicating PROPOSED that they are considering closing the median at Snelling and Crawford. MEDIAN CLOS- Council objected to such a median closing as it would be detrimental ING AT to business in Falcon Heights. Clerk Administrator Barnes presented to Council a letter from the COUNCIL Association of Metropolitan Municipalities regarding the proposed OBJECTS TO draft policy on funding of the Metropolitan Transit Co. Council- PROPOSED member Eggert moved, seconded by Councilmember Larson that the MTC FUNDING Clerk Administrator be authorized to indicate the Council's opposit- ion to the proposed draft policy. Motion carried unanimously. Councilmember Larson moved, seconded by Councilmember Eggert that ADJOURNMENT the meeting be adjourned at 9:20 p.m. Motion carried unanimously.
