i • <br />• <br />MINUTES CF REGULAR C~~:UTvTCIL T~ZEETIi~TG <br />FALCC~1 HEIGHTS, MINNESOTA <br />JAidUABY 2 3 , 19 75 <br />A regular meeting of the Falcon Tieights City Council was <br />called to order by P'Aayor Warkentien at 7:43 p.m. <br /> <br />T~Tayor Warkentien, Councilmen Black, Steele, and Labalestra, PRESEIvTT <br />who reported in at 7:55 b.m. Also rresent were Clerk- <br />Administrator Barnes, Engineer Lemberg;, and Attorney Kenefick. <br />Councilman Ecklund. <br />Councilman Black moved, seconded by Councilman Steele, to <br />approve the minutes of December 12, 1974, as corrected. <br />Motion carried. <br />Councilman Steele moved, seconded by Councilman Labalestra, <br />to approve the minutes of January g, 1975 as corrected. <br />Motion carried. <br />Attorney Kenefick presented proposed Ordinance Tdo. 138 <br />amending Ordinance VETO. 64 establishing Planned Unit <br />Development Districts in Falcon Heights. Attorney <br />Kenefick noted that the only real changes in this <br />ordinance would be the length of time permitting the <br />people to build from approval of their plans to final <br />approval, and the second change would be the sequence of <br />appearances .before the various committees, in regard to <br />the preliminary draft. Councilman Labalestra stated that <br />he felt this ordinance was very well written and commended <br />Attorney Kenefick on it. <br />Councilman Labalestra introduced the following- Ordinance., <br />and moved its adoption: <br />ORDINANCE N0. 138 <br />A P'iCTICid ADOPTING GRDINANCE NC . 1313 IN <br />REGARD TC PLANNED UNIT DEVELCPME?~TT DISTRICTS <br />IN FALCON HEIGiiTS <br />• <br />Councilman Elack seconded the foregoing Ordinan~~*,, and upon <br />a vote being taken, the following voted in favor thereof: <br />T~ia,yor Warkentien, Councilmen Black, Steele, and Labalestra, <br />and the following; voted against the sar~~ : T~1one. Motion <br />carried. <br />Attorney Kenefick presented to the Council his proposed draft <br />of Ordinance 139, Commercial Parking Lot Piaintenance. The <br />Council discussed the proposed ordinance in regard to commer- <br />cial parking lots for three or more cars, amount of blacktop <br />and construction necessary, whether or not building permits <br />would be needed, possible violations and fines, snow removal, <br />right-of-ways, and that if the property owners do not comply <br />with this ordinance after it is passed, that the City cai11 <br />have the right to bring them into compliance.
