POSTITdG PLACES <br />The letter from NSP in regard to rate increases were noted. NSP LETTER <br />The Council discussed the codification of ordinances, and set up a meeting ORDINANCE <br />for April 3, 1975 at 7:30 p.m. to proceed with the codification. CODIFICATION <br />The Building Inspec~or situation was discussed, with several of the council- BUILDING <br />members giving examples of '~ e problems the present inspector has had in- INSPECTOR <br />specting certain jobs. A vote was t.a~:en by roll call to see if the present DISCUSSIOPI <br />Building Inspector should be reta w~.ed, and the vote was negative. The <br />Council suggested that Clerk -Administrator Barnes conduct a search for a <br />new Building Inspector, and to have possibilities ready next meeting. <br />MayorT~+Tarkentien requested the possibility of appointing a Health Officer, <br />and suggested the possibility of appointing Larry Bjork or Keith Loken to <br />fill the position, to be discussed at the next meeting. <br />The letter from the Metropolitan Parks and Open Space Commission in regard <br />to the meeting of Tuesday, March 18, 1975 at 7:30 p.m, was discussed. <br />The 1~tter from the City of St. Paul in regard to proposed ornamental <br />lighting for Snelling-Avenue from Midi*ay Parkway to Hewitt was discussed. <br />The Council directed Clerk ,Administrator Barnes to secure a description. <br />HEALTH OFFICER <br />REQUEST <br />T^~TRO PARK AND <br />OPEN SPACE <br />CITY OF ST.
