~~ <br />Councilman Labalestra moved, seconded by Councilman Black, to approve LIQUOR <br />the liquor disbursements in the amount of $1?~,371.?~ Upon a vote being DISBURSEMENTS <br />taken, the following voted "aye": Mayor warkentien, Councilmen B1aek, <br />Ecklund, Steele, and Labalestra, and the following voted "nay": None. <br />Motion carried. <br />Mayor Warkentien introduced the following Resolution, and moved its RESOLUTION <br />adoption: ?5-15 <br />GEATERAI, <br />RESOLUTION ~3~ REP&NITE <br />SAARING <br />A RESOLUTION DESIGNATING REVENUE SfiARING FITNDS. <br />ENTITLF,MENT PERIOD N0. 6, TO BE EXPENDI~D FOR <br />PUBLIC SAFETY OFERATII~ EXPEHD'ITURTS <br />Councilman Labalestra seconded the foregoing Resolution, and upon a <br />vote being taken, the following voted in favor: Mayor warkentien, <br />Councilmen B~.ack, Ecklund, Steele, and Labalestra, and the following <br />voted against the same: None. Motion carried. <br />The Ramsey County League of Municipalities proposed sno~anobile ordinance SNOWMOBILE <br />was noted by the Council. ORDINANCE <br />The letter from Senator Hansen thanking the Council for its letter in re- i.ETTSR FROM <br />Bard to domed stadium construction, and his apposition to amr public funds to SENATOR HANSSN <br />be appropriated for a domed stadium, was noted. <br />The Human Rights Commission's minutes from the March 26 and April 23 AtA+~AN RIGHTS <br />m®etings were noted by the Council. COMI~SSION <br />A letter from State Representative Howard Neisen concerning the adult LETTER FROM <br />detention center was read, and it was noted the Ramsey County league of STATE REP. <br />Municipalities had passed a resolution supportit:g a new ~ai1 facility, NtESEN <br />but not particularly that one. <br />Councilman Steele moved, seconded by Councilman Ecklund, to authorize the UNIVERSITY <br />Attorney to draft a formal complaint against the University in regard to MANURE PILE <br />the manure pile. Upon a vote being taken, the following voted "fie:" COMPLAINT <br />Mayor Warkentien, Councilmen Black, Ecklund, Steele, and Labalestra, and <br />the following voted "nay's: None. Motion carried. <br />Councilman Steele noted the Boy Scouts would be manning the dumping area DUMPING AREA <br />from May 1st to May 18th located on the State Fair Grounds. <br />Councilman Labalestra reminded the Council of the Businessmen's association BITSINESSMENtS <br />meeting May 5, 1975 at Lido Cafe. ASSsN MEETING <br />Councilman Ecklnnd requested a security light discussion be on the next <br />agenda for the park and tennis courts at the Falcon Community Park Center. <br />The first meeting of the Falcon Heights Bicentennial Committee was noted, <br />and that Brian Boyd is a near member. <br />Gouncilman Steele moved, seconded by Councilman Labalestra, to ad3ourn <br />the meeting at 11:07 p.m. Upon a vote being taken, the following voted <br />'sire": Mayor warkentien, Councilmen Black, Ecklund, Steele, and <br />Labalestra, and the following voted "nay": None.
