Motion carried. <br />The Council discussed the possibilitg of purchasing an eaaergency EMERGENCY PUMP <br />pump, relative to the problems when flooding occurs at Snelling and PURCHASE <br />Idaho. Motion carried. <br />Councilman Labalestra moved, seconded by Councilman Black, to approve GENERAL <br />the general disbursements in the amount of $5,0~3.~.5 Upon a vote being DISBURSEMENTS <br />taken, the following voted "aye" : Mayer `~~zarkentien, Councilmen Black, <br />Ecklund, Steele, and Labalestra, and the following voted "nay": None. <br />Motion carried. <br />Councilman Black moved, seconded by Councilman Labalestra, to approve LIQUOR <br />the liquor disbursements in the amount of $10,~t03.91 Upon a vote being DISBURSEMENTS <br />taken, the following voted "aye" s Mayor ~b,rkentien, Counc ilmen Black, <br />Ecklund, Steele, and Labalestra, and the following voted "nay": None. <br />Motion carried. <br />The Council discussed the letter received from the Un3.vers5.ty in regard MANURE PILE <br />to the manure pile, and the procedures being taken to remedy the situation. <br />The letter from the Fair Board in regard to no parking on Snelling south FAIR BOARD <br />of Hoyt was noted bg the Council. ~TT~ <br />The Fire Department election results were noted as follows: President, FIRE DEPARTMENT <br />Joseph Bianchi; Vice President, Gerald Baden; Secretary, Henry Dachtera; ELECTIONS <br />Treasurer, Robert Lucy; Trustee, John Lueg, Trustee; Frank Wandmacher. <br />2'he radio tower at 1?~30 Iowa was noted, and Councilman Black informed RADIO TOWER <br />the Council he had talked to the gentleman at that address about re- 11130 IOWA <br />moving the tower. <br />The capitalization of the sewer systean was again discussed, but no SEWER SYSTEM <br />action was taken by the Council. CAPITALIZATION <br />A tree at the southwest corner of Garden and Pascal causing a traffic TREE CAUSING <br />hazard was noted, and the Council directed Clerk -Administrator Barnes TRAFFIC HAZARD <br />to take steps to remedy the situation. <br />Councilman Labalestra moved, seconded by Mayor Warkentien, to authorize ATTORNEY' TO <br />the Attorney to draft the proposed Health Ordinance.
