Motion carried. Councilman Labalestra moved, seconded by Councilman Ecklund, that the BUILDING Attorney be authorized to draw uP an individual contract for the Building INSPECTOR Inspector in regard to salary and duties. Upon a vote being taken, the CONTRACT following voted "ay®": Mayor Warkentien, Councilmen Black, Ecklund, Steele, and Labalestra, and the following voted "nay": None. Motion carried. The State Fair fire contract with St. Paul was noted, and that St. Paul FIRE DEPARTMENT plans to increase the cost of protection $5,000 a year for the ne~ct three CONTRACT WITH years. Clerk-Administrator Barnes suggested Chief Helbig draw up a de- STATE FAIR tailed proposal to submit to the Fair Board, offering fire protection by BOARD Falcon Heights. No other action taken. Councilman Steele noted the letter from the Ramsey County Junior Sheriff+s RAMSEY COUNTY Foundation requesting donations. No action was taken by the Council. JUNIOR SHERIFFIS It was noted the residents of Hollywood Court plan to write a letter to UNIVERSITY the PCA in regard to the University manure pile, which Councilmen Steele MANURE PILE read. Legal action was. discussed by the Attorney.
