~y <br />ii <br />Councilman Labalestra introduced the following Resolution, ar.d moved its <br />adoption: <br />RESOLUTION #75-22 <br />A RESIII,UTION TO REGULATE FOOD ESTABLISEB~NTS, VENDERS, AND <br />FOOD SERVICES IN THE CITY OF FAI,COiV I:EIGHTS, AND AUTHORIZING <br />THE HEALTH INSPECTOR .. 2'0 ENFORCE IT AS PER THE PRESENT HEALTH <br />ORDINANCE <br /> <br />1 <br />Mayor Warkentien seconded the foregoing Resilution, and upon a vote being <br />taken, the following noted in favor: Mayor Warkentien, Councilmen Black, <br />Ecklund, Steele, and Labalestra, and the following voted against the same: <br />None. Motion carried. <br />Clerk-Administrator Barnes presented the discussion on c'~airs and quotes <br />for the Council Chambers. The Council requested that this discussion be <br />placed on the next agenda. <br />Mayor Warkentien moved, seconded by Councilman Ecklund, that Clerk-Ad- <br />ministrator Barnes be directed to write a disclaimer letter to General <br />Safety Corporation in North Branch regarding the door latches on 1~he fire <br />truck and the bill for $2.3.00, as the locks should have been covered by <br />warranty. <br />CHAIR <br />QUOTES <br />GENERAL <br />SAFETY <br />CORPORATION IN <br />NORTH BRANCH <br />The letter from the PCA regarding the University manure composting facility <br />was noted by Mayor Warkentien. UNIVERSITY <br />A discussion was held relative to the license Falcon Heights granted JOHN MC- <br />John NIcEachron to operate portable hot dog stands at the State Fair outside EACHRON HOT <br />the Commonwealth Gates on Snelling Avenue in Falcon Heights The letter DOG "STAND <br />from Richard J. Keenen of the Minnesota State Agricultural Society LICENSE <br />concerning this was noted, stating they disagreed with Falcon Heights DISCUSSION <br />authority to issue such a license. It was_~noted, however that JuhT1 McEachron <br />had withdrawn his application for the license. The Council directed <br />Attorney Kenefick to write a letter to the S tats Fair Board explaining <br />Falcon Heights stand in respect to their opinions sent out in their letter. <br />Mayor titiiarkentien moved, seconded by Councilman Labalestra, that the JOHN MC- <br />minut es of July 10th be expanded to include more on John McEachron and EACHRON <br />his application to the Fair Board. Upon a vote being taken, the following CONT. <br />voted "aye": Mayor Warkentien, Councilmen Black, Ecklund, Steele, <br />and Labalestra, and the following voted against the same: None. Iiotion <br />carried. <br />Mayor Warkentien moved, seconded by Councilman Labalestra, that the <br />license issued July Z0, 1975 to J~.hn McEachron be rescir_dea. Upon a <br />vot e being taken, the following voted "aye's: Mayor Warkentien, Council- <br />men Black, Ecklund, Steele, and Labalestra, and the following voted "nays': <br />None. Motion carried. <br />The Council noted the police will be rea~uested to patrol the alleyya;' of POLICE ALL~'YS <br />the City of Falcon Heights as previau.sly had been done. <br />3• <br />
