Motion <br />carried. <br />Mayor Warkentien announced receipt of a notice stating the <br />new chairperson of the Board of Directors of the North <br />Suburban Day Activity Center was Ms. Bonnie Salverda, <br />effective July 1, 1975. <br />Robert Ritchie, 1767 North Fry, presented an emblem plaque <br />to the Council to be placed in the City Ha11 in apprecia- <br />tion for assistance given to the Falcon Heights Youth Hockey <br />Association. <br />NORTH SUBURBAN <br />DAY ACTIVITY <br />CENTER ANNOUNCE- <br />MENT <br />PLAQUE <br />PRESENTATION <br />Mayor Warkentien read a letter from John Boland, Metropolitan AREA AERIAL <br />Council, regarding the availability of aerial photos of the PHOTOS <br />metropolitan area. <br />Moved by Councilman Ecklund, seconded by Councilman Labalestra <br />to obtain three aerial photo maps of the Falcon Heights area <br />from the Metropolitan Council. Upon a vote being taken, the <br />following voted "aye": Mayor Warkentien, Councilmen Ecklund, <br />and Labalestra, and the following voted "nay": Councilman <br />Steele. <br />Mayor Warkentien referred to a request from a citizen asking MAYOR'S <br />the City to trim a neighbor's tree which hangs over her yard. REPORT <br />The City AttSOrney has informed the citizen that the City has <br />no legal right to do this, and that this is a problem between <br />the resident and the neighbor. <br />The Mayor announced the Metropolitan Transit Commission's <br />First Annual Bus Roadeo, October 12, 1975, 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 <br />p.m., at the State Fairgrounds. <br />Attorney Kenefick stated he had received a phone call from ATTORNEY'S <br />a resident complaining of a lot south of 1725 Tatum which REPORT <br />contained unsightly weeds and garbage.
