2 <br />Mayor Warkentien reported on a <br />Moore, President of Mando Phot <br />owner of the Boyd Apartments, <br />tor, the purpose of which was <br />the variance and sideyard setb <br />not attained. In order to res <br />action was taken: <br />meeting held between Mr. Milton <br />o Company, and Mr. James Boyd, <br />at which the Mayor acted as media <br />to reach a mutual agreement on <br />ack. However, an agreement was <br />olve this problem, the following <br />1 3~ <br />MANDO PHOTO <br />COMPANY <br />~.-VARIANCE <br />REQUEST, <br />1790 WEST <br />LARPENTEUR AVE. <br />Moved by Councilman Steele, seconded by Councilman Black to <br />refer 'the application for a varianc® for Mando Photo Company, <br />1790 West Larpenteur Avenue, to the Planning Commission at their <br />meeting of December 2, 1975, for their consideration in detail <br />relative to provisions of Ordinance 61~, Sections 16.1 (3) and <br />16.l~ (1i.), and also including consideration of the sideyard set- <br />back; and, further, that the Planning Commission be notified <br />of this action by letter, with copies to Milton Moore and James <br />Boyd, and that Milton Moore and James ;3oyd submit letters to the <br />Planning Commission before December 2, 1975, explaining any agree- <br />ments or arguments they have with regard to the front variance <br />and sideyard setback requested by Mando Photo Company. Upon a <br />vote being taken, the following voted 'aye': Mayor Warkentien, <br />Councilmen :Slack, Ecklund, Steele, and Labalestra, and the follow- <br />ing voted "nay": None. Motion carried. <br />Don Grittner, Citizen Task Force Committee member, Roseville FINAL REPORT <br />Independent School District #623, presented the final report ON SCHOOL <br />prepared by the Committee to the Mayor and Council. The re- BUILDING <br />port is on file in the City Administrator's office. USAGE <br />Engineer Lemberg presented a report made following an inspec- REPORT: <br />tion of utilities and streets in the University Grove area. UNIVERSITY <br />Mr. Lemberg noted the video tapes had been received from the GROVE UTILITY <br />University and suggested a special meeting be held during AND STREET <br />which they could be viewed. H© stated some of the manholes TAKE-OVER <br />were in bad condit~..on. Engineer Lemberg stated he would like <br />the Council to look over the report for a week or two. <br />Moved by Councilman Steele, seconded by Councilman Labalestra <br />that the Engineer's report concerning the Utility and Street <br />take-over of the University Grove area be distributed to all <br />principals involved as soon as possible for their review, along <br />with the Council. Upon a vote being taken, the following voted <br />"aye": Mayor Trlarkentien, Councilman Black, Ecklund, Steele, and <br />Labalestra, and the following voted "nay": None. Motion carried. <br />Moved by Mayor Warkentien, seconded by Councilman Labalestra to BUSINESST~U±N''S <br />ref er the Businessmen's Planning and Zoning report to the PLANNING AND <br />Planning Commission for their review and recommendation. Upon ZONING REPORT <br />a vote being taken, the followi~ voted "aye" : Mayor tiw'arken- <br />tien, Councilmen Black, Ecklund, Steele, and Labalestra, and <br />the following voted "nay": None. Motion carried. <br />
