3 1 43 Councilman Steele stated h® felt the trust of the Council in the proper operation of the bowling lanes with regard to the bottle club license had been violated by the lack of proper en- forcement. Moved by Councilman Steele, seconded by Councilman Labalestra to suspend the bottle club license, No. 316, issued to the Falcon Lanes, Inc., 1550 West Larpenteur Avenue, for one (1) month, effective December 12, 1975, and setting a public hearing after the first of January, 1976, to consider permanent suspension of the license. Upon a vote being taken, the following voted "aye": Councilmen Steele, Ecklund, and Labalestra, and the following voted "nay": Mayor Warkentien and Councilman Black. Motion carried. James Duffy, 1961 Summer Street, representing the Falcon Heights HOCKEY Hockey Association, said he had been notified that the Roseville EQUIPMENT Area Schools were disposing of some hockey uniforms and that the PURCHASE Association had already purchased some jerseys, but would also REQUEST like to purchase breezers. C18rk-Administrator Barnes noted there were available funds remaining in the 1975 Recreation Account for the purchase. Moved by Mayor Warkentien, seconded by Councilman Labalestra to authorize the purchase of nineteen breezers at $8.00 a pair (total - $152) from the Roseville Area Schools for the Falcon Heights Hockey Association program with the expenditure to be made from the 1975 Budget appropriation. Upon avote-being taken, the following voted "aye": Mayor Warkentien, Councilmen Black, Ecklund, Steele, and Labalestra, and the following voted "nay": None. Motion carried. Discussion was held with regard to contacting the Minnesota COLISEtJ~i State Fair Board concerning the possibility of Falcon Heights ICE TIME obtaining ice time at the near Coliseum at a preferential rate. Moved by Councilman Black, seconded by Councilman Ecklund that the Clerk-Administrator write a letter to the Minnesota State Fair Hoard requesting ice time, possibly at a preferential rate, at the Coliseum for the City of Falcon Heights. Upon a vote being taken, the following voted "aye": Mayor Warkentien, Council- men Black, Ecklund, Ste®1®, and Labalestra, and the following voted "nay": None. Motion carried. Gary Mueller, a senior student in the Landscape Architecture PARK Program at the University of Minnesota, has been preparing a RECREATIONAL survey in conjunction with the Recreational Advisory Committ®®. SURVEY The purpose of the survey is to obtain data which could be DISCUSSION used to updat® City recreational plans. The Clerk-Administrator suggested that the survey could be distributed by members of the ~-H Club or Boy Scouts and re- turned with sewer payments, which would be due after the first of the year.
