5 1 45 <br />Moved by Councilman Steele, seconded by Councilman Labalestra LIQUOR PAYROLL <br />to approve the Liquor Payroll, December 1 - 15, 1975, in the DECEMBER 15, <br />amount of $1,6Lt8.05. Upon a vote being taken, the following 1975 <br />voted "aye": Mayor Warkentien, Councilmen Black, Ecklund, Steele, <br />and Labalestra, and the following voted "nay": None. Motion <br />carried. <br />Moved by Councilman Labalestra, seconded by Mayor Warkentien to LIQUOR <br />approve the Liquor Disbursements in the amount of $16,~t39.26. DISBTA3.SEMENTS <br />Upon a vote being taken, the following voted "aye": Mayor Warken- <br />tien, Councilmen Black, Ecklund, Steele, and Labalestra, and the <br />following voted "nay": None. Motion carried. <br />Mayor Warkentien summarized a letter from Lily M. Gyldenvand, BUS SHELTER <br />Editor, Scope, requesting assistance in having a shelter erected REQUEST <br />at the corner of Fairview and Larpenteur. Clerk-Administrator <br />Barnes was asked to acknowledge the letter. <br />Councilman Black reported the Planning Commission had discussed PLANNING <br />the proposed Businessmen's Association Comprehensive Zoning COMMISSION <br />report at their last meeting. He also suggested that a reduced MEETING REPORT <br />zoning map be provided Commission members. Mr. Slack also <br />asked for a coanparison of the taxes on a residential lot versus <br />the taxes on the same lot if it were zoned commercial. <br />Councilman Black mentioned he was aware of a student who would STUDENT <br />be willing to undertake a municipal project as a school credit PROJECTS <br />if his services could be utilized. Mr. Barnes said there were <br />some projects that could be assigned in this way. <br />Councilman Ecklund noted there would be two, possibly three, HUMAN RIGHTS <br />openings on the Human Rights Commission on the first of the COMMISSION <br />year and suggested four names that could be contacted to fill <br />the vacancies. <br />Councilman Labalestra asked that salaries for liquor store SALARIES: <br />employees be discussed at the next regular Council meeting. LIQUOR STORE <br />EMPLOYEES <br />Moved by Councilman Ecklund, seconded by Councilman Steele to ADJOURNMENT <br />adjourn the meeting at 11:00 p.m. Upon a vote being taken, the <br />following voted "aye": Mayor Warkentien, Councilmen Slack, <br />Ecklund, Steele, and Labalestra, and the following voted "nay": <br />None.
