~ 2~ The Planning Commission has announced their meeting night change PLANNING from the first Tuesday each month to the second Monday. The COMMISSION next meeting is scheduled for March 8, 1976. MEETINGS At the request of Councilman Steele, who was not present at the APPROVAL OF time the Minutes of February 12, 1976, were approved the following MINUTES: action was taken: FEBFi.UARY 12, 1976 Councilman Ecklund withdrew his motion to approve the Minutes. Councilman Labalestra withdrew his second to the motion. Moved by Councilman Ecklund, seconded by Councilman Labalestra to approve the Minutes of the regular meeting of February 12, 1976, with the following addition: Page la.: Council requested the Engineer to have the plans and specifications prepared for the Arona-Crawford improvements by the meeting of February 26, 1976. Upon a vote being taken, the following voted "aye": Councilmen Black, Ecklund, and Labalestra, and the following abstained: Mayor Warkentien and Councilman Steele. Motion carried. Council requested the C1erk~Administrator to draw up a procedure DISPOSITION of policy to be followed as to the disposition of salvageable OF SALVAGE- equipment by the City. Councilman Steele asked that current license fees be updated. LICENSE FEES Councilman Steele mentioned that perhaps citizens should be re- STATE FAIR minded of the "no parking in yards" during the State Fair. PARKING Moved by Councilman Labalestra, seconded by Mayor Warkentien LIQUOR that a letter be directed to legislators opposing legislation ADVERTISING advocating liquor price advertising in the public media. Upon a vote being taken, the following voted "aye": Mayor Warkentien, Councilmen Black, Steele, and Labalestra, and the following voted "nay": Councilman Ecklund. Motion carried. Moved by Councilman Steele, seconded by Councilman Ecklund to ADJOURNMENT adjourn the meeting at 10:lt5 p.m. Upon a vote being taken, the following voted "aye": Mayor Warkentien, Councilmen Black, Ecklund, Steele, and Labalestra, and the ollowing voted "nay": None.
