Minutes <br />March 11, 1976 <br />Page Four <br />RESOLUTION N0. 76-10 <br />A RESOLUTION APPROVING PLANS FOR PATCHING AND <br />SEALCOATING FOR 1976 OF THE NORTHWEST QUADRANT, <br />INCLUDING THE COMMUNITY PARK DRIVEWAY AND THE <br />CITY HALL PARKING LOT, AS SUBMITTED BY THE ENGINEER <br />2'~ ~ <br />RESOLUTION <br />N0. 76-10, <br />CONTINUED <br />Councilman Steele seconded the foregoing Resolution, and upon <br />a vote being taken, the following voted "aye": Acting Mayor <br />Black, Councilmen Ecklund, Steele, and Labalestra, and the following <br />voted "nay": None. Motion carried. <br />Engineer Lemberg explained that Arona Avenue was in need of AROMA AVENUE <br />reconstruction, and that it would be feasible to make this RECONSTRUCTION <br />improvement at the same time the storm sewer was installed. <br />This improvement would consist of reconstructing Arona Avenue <br />and installation of curb and gutter from California Avenue to <br />Hoyt Avenue. <br />Council agreed an informational meeting should be held to <br />discuss the above project with property owners. <br />Moved by Councilman Steele, seconded by Councilman Labalestra that <br />an informational meeting be scheduled regarding Arona Avenue street <br />improvements from California to Hoyt Avenues at 7:30 p.m., March 22, <br />1976, at the City Ha11, and that affected property owners be notified. <br />Upon a vote being taken, the following voted "aye" : Acting Mayor <br />Black, Councilmen Ecklund, Steele, and Labalestra, and the following <br />voted "nay": None. Motion carried. <br />Moved by Acting Mayor Black, seconded by Councilman Labalestra GENERAL <br />to approve the general disbursements in the amount of $13,311.15. DISBtk~.SEMENTS <br />Upon a vote being taken, the following voted "aye": Acting Mayor <br />Black, Councilmen Ecklund, Steele, and Labalestra, and the following <br />voted "nay": None. Motion carried. <br />Moved by Councilman Labalestra, seconded by Acting Mayor Black LIQUOR <br />to approve liquor disbursements in the amount of $5,375.98. Upon DISBURSEMENTS <br />a vote being taken, the following voted "aye": Acting Mayor Black, <br />Councilmen Ecklund, Steele, and Labalestra, and the following voted <br />"nay": None. Motion carried. <br />After discussion of the condition of the Council Chambers, Council COUNCIL <br />directed that the Clerk-Administrator instruct the maintenance CHAMBER <br />men to paint the walls and ceiling, along with a general cleanup CLEANUP <br />of the room. <br />DISEASED <br />Councilman Steele called Council's attention to the fact that TREES <br />more funding would be necessary to replace diseased trees earlier <br />than previously planned as the disease spread was becoming more <br />prevalent in the area. <br />
