Minutes March 11, 1976 Page Four RESOLUTION N0. 76-10 A RESOLUTION APPROVING PLANS FOR PATCHING AND SEALCOATING FOR 1976 OF THE NORTHWEST QUADRANT, INCLUDING THE COMMUNITY PARK DRIVEWAY AND THE CITY HALL PARKING LOT, AS SUBMITTED BY THE ENGINEER 2'~ ~ RESOLUTION N0. 76-10, CONTINUED Councilman Steele seconded the foregoing Resolution, and upon a vote being taken, the following voted "aye": Acting Mayor Black, Councilmen Ecklund, Steele, and Labalestra, and the following voted "nay": None. Motion carried. Engineer Lemberg explained that Arona Avenue was in need of AROMA AVENUE reconstruction, and that it would be feasible to make this RECONSTRUCTION improvement at the same time the storm sewer was installed. This improvement would consist of reconstructing Arona Avenue and installation of curb and gutter from California Avenue to Hoyt Avenue. Council agreed an informational meeting should be held to discuss the above project with property owners. Moved by Councilman Steele, seconded by Councilman Labalestra that an informational meeting be scheduled regarding Arona Avenue street improvements from California to Hoyt Avenues at 7:30 p.m., March 22, 1976, at the City Ha11, and that affected property owners be notified. Upon a vote being taken, the following voted "aye" : Acting Mayor Black, Councilmen Ecklund, Steele, and Labalestra, and the following voted "nay": None. Motion carried. Moved by Acting Mayor Black, seconded by Councilman Labalestra GENERAL to approve the general disbursements in the amount of $13,311.15. DISBtk~.SEMENTS Upon a vote being taken, the following voted "aye": Acting Mayor Black, Councilmen Ecklund, Steele, and Labalestra, and the following voted "nay": None. Motion carried. Moved by Councilman Labalestra, seconded by Acting Mayor Black LIQUOR to approve liquor disbursements in the amount of $5,375.98. Upon DISBURSEMENTS a vote being taken, the following voted "aye": Acting Mayor Black, Councilmen Ecklund, Steele, and Labalestra, and the following voted "nay": None. Motion carried. After discussion of the condition of the Council Chambers, Council COUNCIL directed that the Clerk-Administrator instruct the maintenance CHAMBER men to paint the walls and ceiling, along with a general cleanup CLEANUP of the room. DISEASED Councilman Steele called Council's attention to the fact that TREES more funding would be necessary to replace diseased trees earlier than previously planned as the disease spread was becoming more prevalent in the area.
