Minutes <br />L <br />1 <br />1 <br />April 22, 1976 <br />Page Two <br />Mayor Warkentien introduced the following resolution and moved RESOLUTION <br />its adoption: N0. 76-llt: <br />AUTHORIZING <br />RESOLUTION N0. 76-11t PLANS, SPECS, <br />AND BIDS FOR <br />A RESOLUTION AU~IORIZING COMPLETION OF PLANS AND GARDEN AVENUE <br />SPECIFICATIONS AND PREPARATION OF BIDS FOR GARDEN <br />AVENUE Il~Il'ROVEMENTS AND SETTING A DATE FOR BIDS <br />Councilman Steele seconded the foregoing Resolution, and upon <br />a Tote being taken, the following noted "ay®": Mayor Warkentien, <br />Councilmen Black and Ecklund, and the following Toted "nay": <br />Councilmen Steele and Labalestra. Motion carried. <br />The aboTe-mentioned project was not suggested by the City <br />Engineering firma. <br />William H. Brown, 1808 Asbury, felt that the proposal had <br />an extremely poor chance of being approved. <br />Moved by Councilman Steele that Garden ATenue be maintained and <br />that there be included in the 1976 bid for sealcoating and patching <br />the statemaent that Garden ATenue be included so that the stns®t <br />will b® brought up to grade. Councilman Ecklund felt this motion un- <br />necessary because preTious action included Garden as an alternate. <br />The motion died for lack of a second. <br />Moved by Councilman Ecklund, seconded by Councilman Steele that <br />Aroma ATenue, from California to Hoyt, be inproTSd not to <br />exceed a 32 foot width, as previously planned at the sp®cial <br />meeting of March 22, 1976, and that this information be passed <br />on to the State Highway Department. Upon a Tote being taken, <br />the following Toted "aye": Mayor Warkentien, Councilmen Black, <br />Ecklund, Steele, and Labalestra, and the following Toted "nay": <br />None. Motion carried. <br />Paul. Cross, 1705-07 North Albert, has requested a conditional <br />use permit allowing him to construct a utility building at th e <br />rear of the lot. The Planning Commission recommended approval <br />at their meeting of April 12, 1976. <br />Moved by Councilman Black, seconded by Councilman Labalestra to <br />grant approval of the conditional use permit for a utility <br />building to Paul Cross, 1705-07 North Albert, as requested. <br />Upon a Tote being taken, the following i-oted "aye" : Mayor <br />Warkentien, Councilmen Black, Ecklund, Steele, and Labalestra, <br />and the following Toted "nay": None. Motion carried. <br />DETERMINATION <br />OF WIDZii : <br />ARONA AVENUE <br />CONDITIONAL <br />USE PERMIT: <br />PAUL CROSS, <br />1705-07 NORTH <br />ALBERT, UTILITY <br />BUILDING <br />
