<br />Fire Reports, Nos. 28 and 29, were not®d. FIRE REPORTS
<br />Discussion was held regarding changing the ordinance with FIRE CHIEF'
<br />reference to the appointment of the Fire Chief of the Volunteer APPOINTMENT
<br />Fire Department.
<br />Joe Bianchi, 1725 North Fairriew, a member of the Fire Department,
<br />representing himself as a citizen, felt the matter should be dis-
<br />cussed with the Fire Department before at~y action is taken. Mayor
<br />Warkentien and Clerk-Administrator Barnes are to meet with the
<br />Fire Department on April 27, 1976, to consider the matter.
<br />Councilman Labalestra led a discussion regarding the Municipal MUNICIPAL
<br />Liquor Store operations. LIQUOR STORE
<br />OPERATIONS
<br />Moved by Councilman Labalestra, seconded by Mayor Warkentien DISCUSSION
<br />to transfer $10,000 to the General Sanitary Sewer fund from
<br />the Liquor fund now, with $500 monthly payments to be made
<br />starting in April, 1976, and to review the fund on the bond
<br />and interest due dates, February 1 and August 1, as to possible
<br />additional paym®nts. Upon a vote being tak®n, the following
<br />voted "aye": Mayor Warkentien, Councilmen Black, Ecklund, Steel®,
<br />and Labalestra, and the following voted "nay": None. Motion
<br />carried.
<br />Discussion was held concerning the feasibility of entering into PREVENTATIPE
<br />a contract for preventative maintenance for cooling equipment at MAINTENANCE
<br />the Municipal Liquor Store. Action was tabled until the next CONTRACT:
<br />meeting, May 13, 1976. LIQUOR STORE
<br />Moved by Councilman Steele, seconded by Councilman Ecklund to GENERAL
<br />approve the General Payroll, April 1 - 15, 1976, in the amount PAYROLL
<br />of $3,l~69.87. Upon a vote being taken, the following voted
<br />"aye": Mayor Warkentien, Councilmen Black, Ecklund, Steel®,
<br />and Labal®stra, and the following voted "nay": None. Motion
<br />carried.
<br />Moved by Councilman Black, seconded by Councilman Ecklund to LIQUOR
<br />approve th® Liquor Payroll, April 1 - 15, 1976, in the amount PAYROLL
<br />of $1,690.27. Upon a vote being taken, the following voted
<br />"aye": Mayor Warkentien, Councilmen Black, Ecklund, Steele,
<br />and Labalestra, and the following voted "nay": None. Motion
<br />carried.
<br />Moved by Councilman Steele, seconded by Mayor Warkentien to GENERAL
<br />approve the General Disbursemaents in the amount of $21~,9l~7.98. DISBURSEMENTS
<br />Upon a vote being taken, the following voted "aye": Mayor
<br />Warkentien, Councilmen Black, Ecklund, Steele, and Labalestra,
<br />and the following voted "nay": Non®. Motion carried.
<br />Council authorized the purchase of 80 chairs for the Council
<br />Chambers in the amount of $956.00.
