/Q C,5 <br />MINUTES OF REGULAR COUNCIL MEETING <br />FALCON HEIGHTS, MINNESOTA <br />SEPTEMBER 9, 1976 <br />A regular meeting of the Falcon Heights City Council was called <br />to order by Mayor Warkentien at 7:3l~ p.m. <br />Mayor Warkentien, Councilmen Black, Ecklund and Labalestra. Also PRESENT <br />present were Clerk-Administrator Barnes and Attorney Kenefick. <br />Councilman Steele. ABSENT <br />Moved by Councilman Ecklund, seconded by Councilman Black to approve APPROVAL OF MINUTES <br />the minutes of August 5, 1976, as corrected. Upon a vote being OF AUGUST 5, 1976 <br />taken the following voted "aye°: Mayor Warkentien, Councilmen Black, <br />Ecklund,and Labalestra, and the following voted "nay": None. <br />Motion carreed. <br />Moved by Councilman Black, seconded by Councilman Labalestra to APPROVAL OF MINUTES <br />approve the minutes of August 25, 1976, as corrected. Upon a rote OF AUGUST 25, 1976 <br />being taken the following voted "aye": Mayor Warkentien, Council- <br />men Black and Labalestra, and the following toted "nay": None. <br />Councilman Ecklund abstained as he was not in attendance at the <br />August 25, 1976 meeting. Motion carried. <br />Mayor Warkentien requested Clerk-Administrator Barnes to remove item ITEM REMOVED F80M <br />#6A from the Consent Agenda and place it on the General Agenda as CONSENT AGENDA <br />item #5D. Clerk-Administrator Barnes complied with the request. <br />Moved by Councilman Labalestra,-seconded by Councilman Ecklund to APPROVAL OF CONSENT <br />approve the tiems on th® Consent Agenda as follows: AGENDA <br />1. Fire Report Nos. 63-65. <br />2. NFPCA Casualty Report Nos. 62 & 66. <br />3. Liquor Store Financial States Report, July, 1976. <br />!~. Ramsey County Sheriff's Report, July, 1976. <br />5. Approval of Rescue Squad Members. <br />7. General disburseanents in the amount of $~i,1~37.17. <br />8. Liquor disburse:nenta in the amount of $8,810.39. <br />9. General payroll in the amount of $3,715.06. <br />10. Liquor payroll in the amount of $1,716.33• <br />Upon a vote being taken the followinr voted "aye": Mayor Warkentien, <br />Councilman Labalestra, Ecklund and Black, and the following voted <br />"nay": None. Motion carried. <br />Mayor Warkentien acknowledged a petita.on from 5 Larpenteur Avenue PETITION FOR LOWER- <br />residents, requesting that the speed limit on Larpenteur Avenue ING OR ENFORCING <br />between Snelling and Cleveland Avenues, which is presently set at SPEED LIMIT ON <br />!~0 mph, be either reduced or more stringently enforced.
