PRESENT <br />Also present were Clerk-Administrator Barnes, Engineer Lemberg and <br />Attorney genefick. <br />Co~uut}}cif decided to defer <br />~~1 t the' approval of the September 9, 1976, minutes MINUTL~S OF <br />un <br />he next meeting as they did not have time to read them over 9/9/76 DEFERREI <br />thoroughly as the minutes had not been included in their packets. TO NEXT MTG. <br />Mayor Waxkent3.en requested Clark-Administrator Barnes to add the <br />Sheriff's Report to the Consent Agenda, representing item #9. C1erk- <br />Administrator Barnes complied with the request. <br />Moved by Councilman Ecklund, seconded by Councilman Labalestra to <br />approve the items on the Consent Agenda as follows; <br />1. Fire Report No. 67. <br />2. NFPCA Casualty Reports Nos. 68-71. <br />3. Liquor Store Financial Status Report, September 20, 1976. <br />~. Building Inspector's Report, August, 1976. <br />5. General disbursements in the amount of $28,1l~7.56. <br />6. Liquor disbursements in the amount $20,216.87. <br />7. General payroll in the amount of $3,522.86. <br />8. Liquor payroll in the amount of $2,063.88. <br />9. Sheriff's Report, August, 1976. <br />Upon a vote being taken the following voted "aye"s Mayor Warkentien, <br />Councilmen Ecklund, Steele, Black and Labalestra and the following voted <br />"nay": None. Motion carried. <br />ITEM ADDED TO <br />CONSENT AGENDA <br />APPROVAL OF <br />CONSENT AGENDA <br />Mayor Warkentien read a card from Jeanne Urbank L~nberg thanking Council ZHANfi{ YOU CARD <br />members for their mares thoughts and knidnesses during her recent be- I <br />reavement upon the death of her father. <br />Mayor Warkentien read a letter from Rep. Neil Deitrich in regards to <br />polling places for Falcon Heights Precincts 1 and 2. Rap. Deitrich ex- <br />presaed concern that many of his constituents may be unable to climb the <br />the staix~,ray here at the City Ha11. Council concurred that there was no <br />other satiafaetory location. It was also noted that election fudges were <br />available to bring ballots downsta3.rs in case a voter cannot climb the <br />stairs. Mayor Warkenti.eA~instructed Clerk-Administrator Barnes to reply <br />to Rep • Deitrich inforlai.ng him that we do provide assistance for anyone <br />unable to negotiate the stairs. <br />REQUEST 1~~ RT~• <br />LOCATE POLLING <br />PLACES 1, AND 2 <br />
