Minutes Regular Council Meeting October 28, 1976 Pie 4 Mayor Warkentien presented the second and final request for pay- ment from Allied Blacktop in the amount of $2,325.78. This amount of $2,325.78 includes work done by Allied, with authorization from the City, for 2 residents, Hans Schirrmeister and Chet Saunders, for Driveway improvements and culvert removal from right-of xay. Councilman Steele remarked he felt it was wrong for the City to authorize this work being done and expressed concern it might appear that public funds were being e~cpended for private work.. He also stated he felt the City should adopt this stand as a set policy or by Resolution. Councilman Black moved and it was seconded by Councilman Ecklund to authorize Clerk-Administrator Barnes to make payment to Allied Blacktop in the amount of $2,325.78 and to bill Hans Schirrmeister for $5117..01 and bill Chet Saunders for $239.7.11. Upon a vote being taken the following voted "ay®": Mayor Warkentien, Councilmen Black, Ecklund, Steele and Labalestra and the following voted "nay"a None, Motion carried. izf FINAL REQUEST FOR PAYMENT OF ALLIED BLACKTOP Councilman Labalestra moved and it was seconded by CounciLnan Black MASTER GAS IN- to approve Master Gas Installers License #31111 for Northern Heating STALLERS LICENSE and Air Conditioning. Upon a vote being taken the following voted #3!1!1 -NORTHERN "aye"s Mayor Warkentien, Councilmen Black, Ecklund, Steele and HTG. & AIR COND. Labalestra and the following voted "nay": None. Motion carried. Mayor Warkentien informed Council th$t Ms. Ramona Jorgenson of DAY CARE CENTER 11136 Roselawn has been issued a license by Ramsey County to oper- 1!136 ROSELA,WN ate a day care center for 11 children at her home. Attorney Kenefick infox~aed Council he had received the bill of ffiLL OF SALE AND sale, signed by Mr. Brinkerhoff, for the sewer lines and street EASEMENT FOR lights in the University Grove area and the original eaae~nents UNIVERSITY GROVE for all the Grove area lots. He will record the documents after they are signed by the Mayor. Mayor Warkentien informed Council that there would be a .Board of ASSESSORS MEETING Equalization meeting at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, November 3, l9?6, at the Ramsey County Court House. Anyone attending will be en- titled to mileage and per diem. Mayor Warkentien read the monthly bulletin from the Northwest Suburban Youth Serric'e Bureau and the list of referrals for the month of September. Clerk-Administrator Barnes informed Council that he and Engineer Lemberg had set up a meeting for 9:00 a.m., Thursday, November 11, 1976, with the manager and engineer of the City of Roseville in regards to Roselawn Avenue upgrading. NW YOUTH SERVICE MONTHLY BULLETIN MEETIlJG WITH ROSEVILLE FOR ROSELAWN UPGRADING Clerk-Administrator Barnes also informed Council that he had met BARNES' MEETING with Grove area homeowners last evening, Wednesday, October 27, WITH GROVE AREA 1976, to answer their questions regarding services to be provided HOMEOWNERS by Falcon Heights.
