Minutes 13 <br />Regular Council Meeting <br />December 9, 1976 <br />page 3 <br />1 <br />1 <br />i~ <br />Clerk-Administrator Barnes informed Council that he had received an in- AUDIO ELEC- <br />voice from Audio Electronics in the amount of $678.10 for installation TRONICS <br />of three new microphones. $235.60 of that amount is a charge for a1- INVOICE FOR <br />leviating the radio interference from the system. Mr. Barnes stated INSTALLATION <br />he felt the $235.60 was an unreasonable charge because when the system OF THREE <br />was originally installed he was told there would be no problem adding ADDITIONAL <br />more mikes in the future. Our system was working perfectly prior to MICROPHONES <br />the installation of the three new mikes and the system is still under <br />warranty. <br />Moved by Councilman Steele, seconded by Mayor Warkentien to authorize <br />Clerk-Administrator Barnes to pay only the $I~li2.50, accompanied by a <br />letter of explanation, to Audio Electronics, Inc. Upon a vote being <br />taken the following voted "aye": Mayor Warkentien, Councilmen Black, <br />Ecklund, Steele and Labalestra and the following voted "nay": None. <br />Motion carried. <br />Councilman Ecklund introduced the following Resolution and moved its RESOLUTION <br />adoption. 76_38 <br />REAPPORTION <br />RESOLUTION 76-38 ASSESSMENTS <br />RUTH MARTIN <br />A RESOLUTION REQUESTING THE COUNTY AUDITOR Ta REAPPORTION THE SUBDIVISION <br />ASSESSMENTS ON THE RUTH MARTIN SUBDIVIDED PROPERTY <br />The motion for the Resolution was seconded by Mayor Warkentien and upon <br />a vote being taken the following voted "aye": Mayor Warkentien, Council- <br />men Black, Ecklund, Steele and Labalestra and the following voted "nay": <br />None. Motion carried. <br />Clerk-Administrator Barnes informed Council that Metropolitan Animal MAPSI 1977 <br />Patrol submitted their 1977 contract to the City. The prices will re- CONTRACT - <br />main the same as 1976. Councilman Steele moved and it was seconded ANIMAL CONTR07 <br />by Councilman Labalestra to authorize Clerk-Administrator Barnes to <br />sign the contract with Metropolitan Animal Patrol. Upon a vote being <br />taken the following voted "aye": Mayor Warkentien, Councilmen Black, <br />Ecklund, Steele and Labalestra and the following voted "nay": None. <br />Motion carried. <br />Clerk-Administrator Barnes informed Council that Mrs. Laura Rust, an RE-ISSUE A <br />election judge had inadvertantly thrown her $30.00 check in the trash $30.00 <br />and would like the Council to stop payment on that check and issue ELECTION <br />her a duplicate. JUDGE CHECK <br />TO LAURA RUST <br />Mayor Warkentien moved and it was seconded by Councilman Black to stop <br />payment on check #9988 issued to Mrs. Laura Rust in the amount of $30.00 <br />and issue a new check for $30.00 Upon a vote being taken the following <br />voted "aye': Mayor Warkentien, Councilmen Black, Ecklund, Steele and <br />Labalestra and the following voted "nay": None. Motion carried. <br />
