MINUTES <br />REGULAR CITY COUNCIL MEETING <br />AUGUST 11, 1977 • <br />Page 3 <br />Councilman Labalestra reported to Council the need for <br />a new ice machine, Refrigeration Systems will be sub- <br />mitting a bid. Deferred to a meeting after the bid is <br />received. <br />Councilman Labalestra reported to Council the need for <br />a new vacuum cleaner for the Municipal Liquor Store. <br />It was noted that repair of the old one would be a waste <br />of money. Councilman Labalestra moved, seconded by <br />Acting Mayor Black to purchase a new vacuum cleaner not <br />to exceed $180.00. Upon a vote being taken, the following <br />voted "aye": Acting Mayor Black, Councilmen Steele and <br />Labalestra. The following voted "nay": None. Motion <br />carried. <br />Moved by Councilman Labalestra, seconded by Acting <br />Mayor Black, to have Universal Sign Company remove the <br />sign at the Municipal Liquor Store at the cost of $135.60. <br />Upon a vote being taken, the following voted "aye": <br />Acting Mayor Black, Councilmen Steele and Labalestra. <br />The following voted "nay": None. Motion carried. <br /> <br />Refrigeration <br />Liquor Store <br />VACUUM CLEANER <br />LIQUOR STORE <br />SIGN <br />Councilman Steele requested that Clerk Administrator DOG LICENSES <br />Barnes publish the new fee and licensing procedure for <br />dogs in the official newspaper. In addition, this in- <br />formation should be displayed in the designated posting <br />stations in the city. <br />Moved by Councilman Steele, seconded by Acting Mayor STATE FAIR <br />Black, to approve the porposed posting of "NO PARKING" PARKING <br />signs on the fire hydrant side of the street as shown <br />on the map submitted by the Clerk Administrator, during <br />the State Fair as follows: <br />1. All of the Northome Addition <br />2. Water hydrant side on Albert, Holton, Pascal, <br />Simpson, Arona, Asbury and Crawford, south of <br />Garden Avenue to Larpenteur. <br />3. All of Hollywood Court including the alley. <br />4. St. Marys, Fry, Maple Knoll Drive and Garden <br />Avenue west of Snelling. <br />5. Fairview Avenue 1,300 feet north of Larpenteur <br />on both sides. <br />6. Tatum 1,300 feet north of Larpenteur. <br />7. Lindig Street on water side, including CuldaSac. <br />8. Larpenteur Avenue on both sides between Hamline <br />and Cleveland. <br />Upon a vote being taken, the following voted "aye": Acting Mayor <br />Black, Councilmen Steele and Labalestra. The following voted <br />"nay" None. Motion carried <br />
