<br />n <br /> <br />MINUTES <br />REGULAR CITY COUNCIL MEETING <br />OCTOBER 27, 1977 <br />Page 2 <br />0 '7 ~ <br />Roger Petersen and Vern Peterson of the Association of ASSOCIATION OF <br />Metropolitan Municipalities appeared before council METROPOLITAN <br />with a slide presentation on what the association can MUNICIPALITY <br />provide the municipalities. .After the slide. presentation, MEMBERSHIP <br />there was a question and answer period. No action <br />taken. <br />Mr. Stan Peskar appeared before council on behalf of the <br />League of Minnesota Cities regarding membership for <br />Falcon Heights. Mr. Peskar explained to the council <br />services the league provides for municipalities. The <br />State League coordinates its efforts and services with <br />the Association of Metropolitan Cities. Councilman <br />Black moved, seconded by Councilman McGough to defer <br />the matter of both memberships to the November 10,1977 <br />meeting, Upon a vote the following voted "aye": Mayor <br />Warkentien, Councilmen Black, McGough, Steele and <br />Labalestra. The following voted "nay": None. Motion <br />carried. <br />Brad Lemberg City Engineers presented to council the <br />three plans submitted by Norbert Hermes to provide_a <br />parking lot on Lot 7 of the Crossroads north of their <br />existing shopping center. Engineer Lemberg suggested <br />to council they should adopt Plan A as it is most <br />desirable, but a few minor changes should be made. <br />pp e as correc e . <br />Upon a vote being taken, the following voted "aye": Mayor <br />Warkentien, Councilmen Black, McGough, Steele and Labalestra. <br />The following voted "nay": None. Motion carried. <br />LEAGUE OF <br />MINNESOTA <br />CITIES <br />MEMBERSHIP. <br />NORBERT <br />HERMES <br />PARKING LOT <br />LOT 7 <br />CROSSROADS <br />Councilman Black moved, seconded by Councilman Labalestra MINUTES OF <br />to a rove the minutes of Octob r 13 1977 t d OCTOBER 13,1977 <br />Councilman Labalestra moved, seconded by Mayor Warkentien <br />to approve the George Hansen Auditing Firm to audit the <br />Cities 1977 books, including the liquor store accounts <br />at a cost not to exceed $4,000.00. Upon a vote being <br />taken the following voted "aye": Mayor Warkentien, <br />Councilmen Black, McGough, Steele and Labalestra. The <br />following voted "nay": None.
