Councilman <br />Steele moved, seconded by Councilman Labalestra to set <br />a special meeting for November 22nd at 7:30 p.m. and <br />dispense with the regular meeting of November 24, 1977. <br />Upon a vote being taken, the following voted "aye": <br />Mayor Warkentien, Councilmen Black, McGough,Steele and <br />Labalestra. The following voted "nay": None. Motion <br />carried. <br />Councilman McGough moved, seconded by Councilman Black <br />to appoint Councilman McGough, Black and Labalestra to <br />the canvessing board for November 9, 1977. Upon a vote <br />being taken the following voted "aye": Mayor Warkentien, <br />Councilman Black, McGough. The following abstained: <br />Councilmen Labalestra and Steele, the following voted <br />"nay": None. Motion carried. <br />TREE SURVEY <br />REPORT (CONY) <br />NOVEMBER <br />MEETING <br />DATE <br />CANVESSING <br />BOARD <br />FEDERAL <br />SURPLUS <br />MINNESOTA SASP <br />Labalestra. The following voted "nay": None. motion carried. <br />Council discussed entering into a contract with Minnesota <br />GASP Federal Surplus purchasing. Councilman Steele <br />moved, seconded by Councilman Black to participate in the <br />program with a maximum limit of $500.00 per item, and <br />authorize Clerk Administrator Barnes, Vincent Wright <br />and Fire Chief Jerry Renchin to purchase items. Upon <br />a vote being taken, the following voted "aye": Mayor <br />Warkentien, Councilmen Black, McGough, Steele and <br />Councilman McGough offered his services to advise on some <br />items due to his experience in this type of purchasing. <br />Council agreed the staff consult with Councilman McGough <br />on purchases. <br />Councilman McGough moved, seconded by Councilman Labalestra <br />to authorize the installation of a city owned radio for <br />Fire Chief Jerry Renchin's private car for a total cost <br />of $80.00. The radio to be installed is an RCA, <br />Type CACA6M, Fee N06T260G, serial J-04412-2. Upon a vote <br />being taken, the following voted "aye": Mayor Warkentien, <br />Councilman Black, McGough, Steele and Labalestra. The <br />following voted "nay": None. Motion carried. <br />Councilman Labalestra moved, seconded by Councilman Steele <br />to recind the motion made at the October 13, 1977 meeting <br />regarding the Larpenteur Avenue median cut in front of <br />the City Hall and Fire Station. Upon a vote being taken, <br />the following voted "aye": Mayor Warkentien, Councilmen <br />Black, McGough, Steele and Labalestra. The following <br />voted "nay": None.
