MINUTES <br />SPECIAL CITY COUNCIL MEETING ~ 1 6 <br />NOVEMBER 22, 1977 <br />Page 4 <br />Councilman Black reported that School District 623 TENNIS COURT <br />might be favorable toward installation of tennis courts FALCON HEIGHTS <br />at the Falcon Heights Elementary School.. It would take SCHOOL <br />further negotiations as to the responsibility for the <br />installation costs. Councilman Black volunteered to <br />look into the matter and report back at a later date. <br />Attorney Kenefick reviewed with council the specifica- INSURANCE <br />tions for city insurance that was expiring Jan. 1, 1978. BPECIFICATION <br />He suggested to council that the General Automobile <br />Liability (Bodily Injury) requirements be at $100/$300 <br />as stipulated by State Statutes. Attorney Kerffick <br />further suggested the council retain the General Liquor <br />Liability (dram shop) at $250/$500 as required by State <br />Statutes. <br />Councilman Black moved, seconded by Councilman Steele <br />to authorize Clerk Administrator Barnes to prepare a <br />cover letter to accompany the insurance specifications <br />for 1977, with City Attorney's reccomendations, <br />excluding the Institutional Policy as it does not expire <br />until January 1979 and forward a set to numerous insurance <br />companies for their consideration of a bid. Upon a vote <br />being taken the following voted 11aye": Mayor Warkentien, <br />Councilmen Black, McGough, Steele and Labalestra. The <br />following voted "nay": None. Motion carried. <br />The Liquor Store financial report for October 1977 was LIQUOR STORE <br />noted. REPORT - <br />OCTOBER 1977 <br />Councilman McGough moved, seconded by Mayor Warkentien ADJOURNMENT <br />to adjourn the meeting at 10:50 p. m. Upon a vote <br />being taken the following voted ".aye": Mayor Warkentien <br />Councilmen Black, McGough, Steele and Labalestra. The <br />following voted "nay": None.
