Upon a vote being taken the following voted <br />"aye": Mayor Warkentien, Councilmen Black, McGough, Steele <br />and Labalestra. The following voted "nay": None. Motion <br />carried. <br />1 <br /> <br />Mayor Warkentien read to .council a letter of resigna- <br />tion received from Leo Ohman, a member of the Planning <br />Commission effective October, 1977. Mayor Warkentien <br />moved the acceptance with regret and thanks for the <br />fine services rendered by Mr. Leo Ohman over the years. <br />Councilman Black seconded. Council requested Clerk <br />Administrator Barnes to prepare a written commendation <br />and letter of thanks for his years of service. Upon <br />a vote being taken, the following voted "aye": Mayor <br />Warkentien, Councilmen Black, McGough, Steele and <br />Labalestra. The following voted "nay": None. Motion <br />carried. <br />Mayor Warkentien moved the <br />1794 Tatum to the Planning <br />approval to fill the unexp <br />Councilman Black seconded. <br />the following voted "aye": <br />mem Black, McGough, Steele <br />voted "nay": None. Motion <br />appointment of Harold Nilsen, <br />Commission with council <br />iced term of Leo Ohman. <br />Upon a vote being taken <br />Mayor Warkentien, Council- <br />and Labalestra. The following <br />carried. <br />Mayor Warkentien reviewed for approval the partial <br />payment to C.S. McCrossan in the amount of $41,728, <br />for the Idaho and Hollywood Court improvement. Mayor <br />Warkentien moved, seconded by Councilman Steele to <br />approve payment as submitted. Upon a vote being <br />taken, the following voted "aye": Mayor Warkentien, <br />Councilmen Black, McGough, Steele and Labalestra. <br />The following voted "nay": None. Motion carried. <br />Clerk Administrator Barnes suggested to council that <br />Larpenteur Avenue be posted No Parking on both the <br />north and south side from Cleveland Avenue to Fry <br />Street. This request was made due to the county's <br />concern for snowplowing. Council suggested the <br />County Engineer make a request before council <br />reviews the matter. McCROSSAN <br />LARPENTEUR <br />AVENUE "NO <br />PARKING" <br />Councilman Black moved, seconded by Councilman PLANNING <br />Labalestra to adopt the By-Laws of the Planning COMMISSION <br />Commission as submitted. Upon a vote being taken, BY-LAWS <br />the following voted "aye": Mayor Warkentien, Council- <br />men Black, McGough, Steele and Labalestra. The <br />following voted "nay": None, Motion carried. <br />
