John Labalestra also stated ~~' JOB CORP-S(cont) <br />the uncertainty of the future land use of the <br />Bethel site if Job Corps were to discontinue <br />their program. <br />1 <br />11. Michael Fritz concluded that the Como-Falcon <br />Community Coalition would pursue legal action <br />if the governor were to approve the site. <br />Mr. Fritz has stated that the pledges have <br />topped the $7,000 mark. <br />12. The community's objection is not against the <br />Job Corps program, but against the residential <br />site location primarily due to increased crime <br />as demonstrated in other Job Corps areas like <br />Clinton, Iowa. <br />Councilman Labalestra informed council that the Liquor LIQUOR STORE <br />Store will be closed Monday, Dec. 26, 1977 and CLOSES <br />Jan. 2, 1978. <br />Councilman Steele moved, seconded by Councilman Black ADJOURNMENT <br />to adjourn at 10:05 p.m. Upon a vote being taken the <br />following voted "aye": Mayor Warkentien, Councilmen <br />Black, McGough, Steele and Labalestra.
