<br />U <br />MINUTES <br />SPECIAL CITY COUNCIL MEETING <br />DECEMBER 29, 1977 <br />Page 4 - <br />Mayor Warkentien moved, seconded by Councilman McGough <br />to authorize Clerk Administrator Barnes to apply for <br />CETA personell for a nine month period in 1978, Upon <br />a vote being taken, the following voted "aye": Mayor <br />Warkentien, Councilmen Black, McGough, Steele and <br />Labalestra. The following voted "nay": None. Motion <br />carried. <br />Councilman Steele moved, seconded by Councilman Black <br />to set the salary of Jan Cheney at $625.00 per month <br />base, and $25.00 per regular meeting totaling $675.00 <br />per month. Upon a vote being taken the following voted <br />"aye": Mayor Warkentien, Councilmen Black,. McGough, <br />Steele and Labalestra. The following voted "nay": <br />None. Motion carried. <br />Councilman Labalestra .moved, seconded by Councilman <br />McGough to set the salary of the liquor store <br />employees as follows: <br />Mgr. George Willkom $16,100 per yr. <br />Asst. John Sosneicki $10,424 per yr. <br />Cashiers - 1st six months - no experience $3.00/hr <br />after six months experience $3. 35/hr <br />Stock Boys - $2.65/hr no experience <br />maximum $2.85/hr <br />Upon a vote being taken the following voted "aye": <br />Mayor Warkentien, Councilmen Black, McGough, Steele <br />and Labalestra. The following voted "nay": None. <br />Motion carried. <br />1~~ <br />CETA <br />PERSONELL <br />SALARY - <br />JAN CHENEY <br />LIQUOR STORE <br />SALARIES <br />Mayor Warkentien moved, seconded by Councilman Black MEETING <br />to continue the meeting beyond 11:00 p.m. Upon a EXTENSION <br />vote being taken the following voted "aye": Mayor <br />Warkentien, Councilmen Black, McGough, Steele and <br />Labalestra, and the following voted "nay": None. <br />Motion carried. <br />Councilman Labalestra reported that George Willkom <br />and he are in the process of getting bids for a new <br />advertizing case on the front of the liquor store. <br />He also reported that the fire report complaints <br />have been taken care of. <br />Councilman Labalestra thanked the council for the <br />support he has had from councilmembers while on the <br />council and offered his support in the future where <br />possible. <br />LIQUOR STORE <br />REPORT <br />r~ <br />U <br />
